When I first crossed the US border in December at the airport and passed through CBP, I declared that my intentions were to travel and to visit friend from college, which was true, but I never mentioned I have wife in US. Only eventually in February me and my wife decided to opt for AOS through a lawyer. I was held at CPB office at the airport, anyway, for further information like how much money I had, why I have had crossed the border several times in 2019 etc. Is there a chance that what I declared at the border would come up during the OAS interview? If so, I will tell the truth undoubtedly but can it affect my AOS application?

Hello everyone, I am new in the forum. I've tried to look for topics with my same issue but found none so far. I would like to have opinions from people/lawyers who are/were dealing with my same situation. I applied for AOS few days ago as our immigration lawyer suggested. I am married to an US citizen and crossed the border legally months ago, from Italy. The lawyer reassured us that I will eventually obtain the Green Card, since our strong historical/financial background but I am worried about work. I should receive my EAD in 6 months, hopefully, and this really gets me down. Living for lots of time without getting some honest money in the pocket really gets me down. I know people that can easily give me a fake SSN so I can start working, but I want to think twice before doing it. Is there any chance that it can come out during my AOS process? I will not use the SNN or other reasons but for work. I would be happy if someone can share experiences about this. I have not talked about this with my lawyer since she gets paid a lot only for simple questions.

Hi, everyone! I did not see a thread on this and I was curious, for the people who are now past the NOA2 stage - so between NVC and consulate - what is the consensus with the coronavirus outbreak for the Naples consulate? Are they still open and conducting interviews? What's the situation? We are still waiting on NOA2, and it might be another month or more before we hear, but I was wondering if anyone has heard anything and whether interviews are being postponed or anything like that. Thank you in advance!

Hi everybody, I have a question and I hope you will help me to address the right steps I'm a Naturalized US Citizen due my mother. I received my N600 last year and now I'm appliyng for my two sons. the young one is below the 21, and he is studying at Arizona college. For him, due the age, the process will go smoothly (I hope) the problem is the older one. He is 23 years old and he lives abroad (in Italy) with me. He has his girlfriend living in US and he would want to travel back and forth every two monts for a couple of week each time to visit her. of course, his intention is to come back in Italy and complete his college education and MBA. no intention to move in US until that. my question is: with an I-130 application ongoing, is he allowed to travel in USA using the ESTA (Visa Waiver Program) as a tourist for a very limited time? or there is the risk for him to be denied at the Custom Immigration Check? thank you for any advice
