Hello again everyone, I filed for AoS from ESTA on March 3, did biometrics on August 4 and today, September 4, got in mailbox both EAD/AP approved! I feel I have been very lucky considering that USCIS offices were closed from middle March up to June 4. Is there anyone else who experienced the same? I am still expecting my interview to be scheduled, though. Thank you, Lilly

My son and I got the emails starting that our documents were approved. But the email says that the Consulate Is closed (Naples). On the website they still look open. I was convinced that Consulates were under an executive order to process spousal visas , and spousal visas only. Am I wrong? What can I do now? I have waited almost three years now. My heart Is shattered

Hello! We are about to fill out the I-864 and I-864a with my mother as a co-sponsor for my Italian husband. If in 2019, we earned a combined $70,000 (for a household of 3 including my husband who is not yet here), yet I am currently unemployed due to COVID-19, am I all good for income requirements or would they likely expect to also see current pay stubs? Are current pay stubs important if the combined income for the previous tax year is well above the 125% poverty level threshold? I'm not sure if I should scramble for any job that comes my way in a rush right now or if I could just hold tight and accept the right job in my field if current pay stubs would indeed be required. Would being unemployed right now be a bad look or are they factoring the pandemic into their decisions do you think? Thank you so much for any insight that you can provide.

Hello everyone, My wife has her IR-1 visa in hand and we are looking to book her flight to Denver from Sicily. We're a bit confused on the COVID and quarantine procedures. Since she is coming from the Schengen region will she have to stay in another country for 14 days before entering the U.S.? She has two annotations on her visa: "Exception under PP on Novel Coronavirus" and "Exception under PP on Risk to Labor Market." I'm assuming this doesn't allow her to bypass any quarantine rules. For those of you who recently came to the U.S. on an IR-1 visa, were you allowed to enter the U.S. directly? Where from? Were you denied entry? Did you have any problems during your trip because of quarantine procedures (layovers, delays, etc.). Sorry, I know I'm asking a lot of questions, but we are just trying to plan carefully with as few issues as possible. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks so much!
