Hello again everyone, I am a filer for AOS from Tourist Visa. I was visiting my husband in February when the pandemic came out and so our lawyer, fortunately, recommended me to apply for AOS and not to leave the country , without filing, because there would be high chances I would wait a very long time. So we filed on March 5, and finally September 1st my EAD/AP card was approved. Now, I am waiting for my interview to be scheduled. I have two important questions: - In my case(B-2 Visa), is there any chance to have my interview waived? I am not sure by checking on the USCIS website, plus some topics says so, other posts says the opposite. We are two young people engaged for many years and got married last year. We can easily prove our marriage without any doubts, having a long history of records, bills, travels done together, pictures, messages etc. That's why I am thinking that they might simply ask for a RFE. - How the officer could behave with me compared to someone who filed for AOS from a K Visa? is he/she going to ask me further questions beside those usually asked from a K-Visa? Thank you, Lilly

Hey guys, next week me and my wife will attend to the long waited AOS interview! Now our situation is a bit i would say different than i read here in the forum, since i moved here my mother in law guested us *she is also co-sponsor*, now we were looking for apt since i started working recently {thanks god) and then we got the interview scheduled. The *only* evidence bona fide marriage we have, beside me having my phone in her/her mother plan, and our joint bank account, we dont have utilities at our name, nor insurance, nor car we recently bought a car but since her Mom helped us with her credit score i didn't join the car loan. Well of course we have pictures together, phone calls *5/7 days for a year basically on her lunch break* Wedding pictures, wedding letters with both names on, wedding album. Do you guys think thats enough? Thankyou for any of you that will spend time to reply!

I was documentarily approved in August. Nvc wrote Is that yes, we were documentarily approved, but the Consulate in Naples was closed. We called the Consulate, and It was actually open and doing spousal visas. We wrote this to Nvc. No answer. So we asked for an expedite. My husband' s health has been deteriorating for a long time, It Is very likely that I will go through a new lockdown soon, and my son will not be able to enter college if this thing Is going to take months. So we asked for an expedite. Rejected because there were no birthdays on It. They told us to submit It again with birthdays which we did on the second of September. No answer. What Is the point in being documentarily approved if they do not even know if a Consulate is open or closed, and if they are not going to answer anyway to anything? Nvc does not answer emails and now It Is not answering the expedite. I am desperate and I have been for a long time.Sorry for the rant. Any advice Is appreciated.
