Hi,

I was wondering how a request to expedite the EAD works. I saw some people requested it and got their EAD issued pretty quickly.

Do you really have to be on an extreme financial loss to be able to obtain it?

Or a simple employment letter can be enough?

Any experiences?

Unfortunately the USCIS Field offices in NYC have been closed due to bad weather both yesterday and today.

Therefore my interview has been canceled and I'm waiting to receive notice about its rescheduling.

I assume it will take at least a week to get the notice via "mail"?!

How long does it take USCIS to reschedule?

How late in the month usually they reschedule you for next interview?

Hi,

I have filed the AOS and now I have nothing else to do but wait.

I have come across some ESL - English As Second Language courses offered by several schools in my area. I reached out to them to better understand fees and schedules and all of them told me that this program is free for immigrant adults or anyone else whose English is a second language. Apparently this program is founded by the State where I live.

I do not know what to do. Is it something that can mess up with the Public Charge Rule?

Did someone notice any differences in waiting times? (EAD approval etc.)?
