does anyone know after entering US on k1 visa and be interviewed

how long does it take to get our green card on average? is the time frame based on the USCIS centers that you filled your case like California center (which is the center which is processing almost all k1 visas) or is it depend on the state you live and how crowded that specific state is

Hello again everyone,

right at the beginning of the pandemic my husband and I filed for AOS. We filed, for the AOS, also a joint tax return. During the whole 2020 he received two checks and now he's supposed to receive the third one ( I guess). I believe I did not received them as I did not have either an ITIN or the SSN, which I obtained only in September 2020 (EAD combo card)

Now, in March my green Card was finally approved. What should I do to claim the 3 stimulus checks? Should I file the tax return for 2020 and state that I have not received them? Or should I get them somehow without claiming?

Thanks in advance to who can give me an helpful hand. I am very confused at the moment on how to proceed and a little financial help would help me a lot at the moment.

I have a question for you - I hope someone can help me with this.

My husband and I live in Missouri but we decided to get married in Florida where he is a resident.

The addresses in the marriage license are the Missourian one for me - under the section spouse B - and the Floridian one for him, the spouse A.

When we filed the AOS we entered the Missourian address as it is our current address (for which we share a lease agreement that I included in the envelope).

Can this be an issue?

I would love your help for a friend that has a question about continuous residency requirement after applying for American citizenship.

She applied for citizenship in October 2020 and then had to go back to Italy for a few months.

She returned to the States few weeks ago but will have to go back to Italy in a month or so to take care of her baby (the father lives in Italy).

She knows the general rule that requires to spend in America at least 6 months and a day every year; however, she is not sure if this requirement applies in exactly the same way also after applying for citizenship.

Would you please share your knowledges on this regard?

She is very confused right now and your help would be greatly appreciated.

I am currently helping my brother who is active duty military (navy) with his K-1 visa process. He submitted the initial application before deployment and it was received. He has since received an RFE which I am helping him and his fianc get sorted. The RFE is asking for more evidence (ongoing communications, statements of relationship support etc) and one of the things the notice mentioned was "evidence of financial support". This request is confusing because the 129F application does not require financials, the visajourney K1 guide doesn't mention financials until after approval of 129F, and USCIS states that affidavit of support is not required until the 129F is approved. Can anyone please advise me on what exactly they would need as evidence of financial support at this point in the process? Also if anyone has any advice on processing the 129F while being active duty in the navy would be appreciated! We have been able to compile all the other evidence requests in the RFE but the financial evidence is stumping me and I don't want to leave anything out.
