Can outside people mess up you getting a visa?

Okay, for now this is a hypothetical question. My husband and I have nothing to hide, we re first loves, happily married, we applied for a marriage visa while living together abroad, have been BEST friends for 7 years, we have nothing that anyone could accuse us of bad intentions in this Visa process.

We have recently gotten out of a manipulative church situation, here in Israel, where their MAJOR pet peeve was Israelis marrying Americans and moving to America. The church leaders are American themselves, they go to America whenever they care to, but they really hate when their people from their Israeli group move to the US. It s like leaving the faith and turning to Satanism for them.

We got out of the church when we realized how bad stuff was getting, but we are a bit uncomfortable with the situation of them finding out about our applying to come to the US. We re related to some of these people and they unfortunately found out about us one day moving. They were angry at us and said some manipulative stuff and told us that God would never bless us if we went to the US. Then we once heard one of the leaders say to someone else We ll do whatever it takes to make it to where you have to stay in Israel. The leader said he d write the people in charge and make sure they stayed put. This comment was said in jest to someone else, but my husband and I got nervous.

We left the church, but they still write us, and have even sent other people to write us to find out information about what we re doing.
If these people wanted to try to do problems to us for our process, would the USCIS take their word over ours? If they said they suspected fraud to manipulate the situation, what would that do to us?

I know they d have nothing on us if they claimed it and needed proof to back up their claims, but I don t know how USCIS works. I would hope they d need proof . I just want to be prepared if there was ever an issue.

Thanks for answering with whatever you know.
I hope this isn t taken as a super weird question. Lol.

Green card for children while pending AOS

I would like to help my children obtain a green card. What would be the best path?

I arrived to the US with a K-1, got married and filed for AOS. I m divorced, and my children (who are under 18 years old) live with their mom. We have a court approved parenting plan to share the time with the children. My children do not have any visa. Their mom is also married to a USC. I did not add them as dependents in my application for a k-1 visa.

Can I now add them as dependents to my AOS in some way? Do I need to wait for my GC to be approved? Can my wife (their step-mom) apply for them?

Thank you

Should I apply for Returning Resident SB-1 Visa?

Hi,

I have gained my Lawful Permanent Resident status in the US on April 2019, last year,

on that time I was serving in the army under mandatory law for military service in my home country.

I have been serving since November 2017 and until July 2020.

I have already had flight tickets in my hands into the US that were planned for April 2020- so I shall not remain outside of the US for a period longer than 1 year.

Unfortunately, Covid-19 pandemic has shown up and I could not have come to the US on times because the airline has cancelled my tickets.

because of that, I have exceeded 1 year outside of US borders and now I need to apply for SB-1 Returning Resident visa in order to come back to the US.

this upcoming process is exhausting and complicated in order to issue me a new immigrant visa and may hurt my naturalisation process.

my green card was only issued last year and is valid until 2029,

my question is if would you recommend for me to just take a flight now into the US and deal with the immigration officer at the port of entry

or start this visa process with the embassy in my home country?

Hi everyone. Is there anyone here from Israel who filed for police clearance ? NVC is asking me for a police clearance which needs to be uploaded to my civil documents before they can review our case. But according to my readings, police clearance obtained in Israel are directly sent to the US embassy in Jerusalem. If I may ask for those who have personal experience and knowledge about this, what did you do ? We re you be able to provide the NVC a copy for your Police clearance and how did you do it? Thank you

Should I request hardship for a reason to expedite?

My husband and I are living in Israel. He had a great job when we came here, had $10k in savings, we had a nice spot. Coronavirus hit, wiped out our savings due to shutdowns, we tried for Social security here and it was laughable what they gave. He s tried getting 10 Different jobs and they all closed a day or two after he started working. Last I heard unemployment was like 23% here and it doesn t look great economically. The leaders are killing people with the shutdowns and rules.

my husband and I do not want to be pulled apart. We were apart for 7 years and 6600 miles. I can t work here, I don t know the language, my husband is bilingual and still can t find a decent job.

I have 5 job opportunities back home that are good jobs and will more than cover our cost of living, but we don t want to be apart.

can I apply for hardship to expedite the I-130? Should I try?
