Hello, we filed our i130 March 5 and it s gone to the Nebraska service center. I m reading this center has one of the longest processing times. Is that true? also curious - when is our case moved to the consulate here in Dublin? will processing times be quicker since ireland is a small country? last question - will the fact that offices are closed for interviews plus Trumps ban on certain visas speed up the process? thank you for your help. Trying to get home to care for my mom but don t want to leave my husband and father of our young kids behind.

Hi guys I m super confused right now. I applied for I-751 last May and heard nothing until October when I completed fingerprints at local office. Yesterday I checked the older uscis site and noticed my case status updated to another office has jurisdiction over your case . I checked the new website today and the attached image is what they re showing. So kinda conflicted statuses I have tried searching for answers but can only find stuff on combo applications of Roc and N400 I haven t submitted N400. I ve not applied for N400 yet. I called USCIS and spoke with tier 2 who told me my case was still at Nebraska and the first update was just an officer transferring my case to some other part of the service Center. anyone any ideas what s going on or had similar things happen. My case has no red flags and we are still happily married with nearly two year old son.

Hi everyone, Just a quick question, my AOS was received by UCSIS this week. I got the texts from UCSIS yesterday so I obviously haven t received the mail notification yet. Just to see if anyone has any information, because I m sure many of us are in this position. I m assuming that because there will be no biometrics appointments soon, then my AOS process is essentially paused? Not that it matters too much, it s not like I ll need my right to travel or to work anytime soon!

Hello Everyone, Since I am getting closer to apply for my citizenship I have question if any of can answer I will really appreciate. Recently I moved from one state to another with family I changed with USCIS to new address because that is my permanent address and filed my 2019 tax at the new address. But i was still working in the old state and maintaining a temporary residence there for work during the week stayed there sometimes 5 days or sometimes less but travel to home every weekend. On the N400 form I have to provide all the address i lived within the past 5 years. So i have to put but address during that period or just the permanent one? I really do not know if i have both they may ask how you have two address and how they will determine which one is permanent? any help I will apperciate. Thank you in advance.

Hi everyone, My fiance and I are looking for some advice based off of the current pandemic. My fiance just completed the medical exam 2 weeks ago (Feb. 28th) and we're wondering whether or not to proceed with scheduling the interview (we haven't submitted the Notice of Readiness or DS-160 yet). We thought we could wait out this craziness but realized that the validity of the medical exam is going by each day that we're waiting. So, we've come up with 2 options: Option 1: We continue as planned and schedule the interview, assuming they're still being held. If all goes well, we'll have to enter the US 6 months after Feb. 28th. We're crossing our fingers the travel ban will be lifted soon. Option 2: Don't schedule the interview knowing that the medical will expire in 6 months and do the medical again if needed. Your thoughts/advice? Thanks so much in advance!
