Moved back to home country recently. Do I need to wait 2 years to file?

Hi there, hoping to get some clarity on this as I can't tell where I fall.

I was living in Canada for about 5 Years on a visa. Met my USC spouse there.
Left Canada in November and stayed in US with my spouse until January.
Moved home to Ireland January and this is now my residence.
Back to visit and get married March - June and now back home.

We are filing for CR1 with him in the US and me here. Am I required to have been a resident of Ireland for 2 years before we apply?
Can we file soon and if 2 years are required, have that be counted up while we wait?
Do the two periods of roughly 3 months each, in which I wasn't physically in Ireland but it was my residence on all my paperwork count towards the "residence" day count?
If I go visit him again for a period of time, will I need to add these days onto the end of physically being home?

Thanks so much. Just trying to get a timeline of where we are at!

Hi guys, so I currently have my 2 year greencard, i'm supposed to be getting my 10 year greencard in 2021 but i'm wondering, I want to change my name to my married name, i'm still currently my maiden name, what would be the best way to go about this. I wanna just have the 10 year in my married name so I don't have to worry about this again! Any help is super appreciated!

K1 Visa: Anyone else stuck in limbo?

Hello

My fiance and I, like many of you, are at our wits end. We started our visa journey in August of 2019 and the year anniversary is soon approaching.

We sent over a packet to schedule for a Visa interview, in March, to the U.S Embassy in Dublin and soon after received a notification saying they are "not scheduling interviews at this time".

My fiance's medical exam expires in August, there is no information as to when the Embassy will be accepting interviews, the EU is banning U.S. citizens entry and vice-versa, and we feel so helpless. Because my fiance's visa is so far in process he isn't allowed to enter the U.S. because his Tourist visa was terminated and, as far as we are aware, not eligible to apply. I was able to see him once, by the grace of God, since the pandemic but now... we're not certain when things will shape up.

I constantly see posts on here trying to analyze the EO in regard to K1 visas and it seems a bit pointless for our situation. These Embassies are staying shut and these furloughs are having/going to have detrimental effects on timelines across the board.

With the way the Chief Cheeto is handling things, I have been considering the move to Ireland instead as it would be a bit easier as far as getting a visa for myself goes. However, that means trying to convince my daughter's father to let our daughter move with me, transferring my Master program's credits to attend school in Ireland or another EU country (places where my Master is not as effective/popular), and backing out of my lease which would be very costly... seems damn near impossible, but with the state America is in right now, it's beginning to sound like a good idea.

Anyways, sorry for the rant. Just wondering how many people are going through a similar issues. We don't know what to do, our lawyer doesn't know what to do, we're sitting ducks.

Summary: Anyone else in limbo and been on this visa journey for far too long?

Hi All, first post here. I though it might be a good idea to have an "announcement watch" tracker to try and accurately track what the officials are saying via news media and elsewhere. Whilst this site is incredibly informative there are a lot of opinion based updates which are misleading and I thought it might be good to have a section whereby updates are shared eradicating all false hope by cutting rumor-mill discussion.

The U.S. embassy here in Dublin has not yet opened - so trying to keep my finger on the pulse on when we may actually get an interview date..

There is no material update since the 2nd June: https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-ie/niv/information/announcements#571-urgent_information_for_visa_applicants_regarding_novel_coronavirus_20200526162555
