Hi! My wife(Shari - USC) and I(Irish) are thinking about beginning the process, with the children, to move to the US this year as we heard it can be a lengthy process. We have a son (7 months) who is already a duel citizen. I have a son(15) and a daughter(12) from a previous relationship who are flirting with the idea of moving after they finish high school here. Shari's folks are willing to be our co-sponsors for the application and the household income is a multiple of the poverty line. I've been contracting to a US company from Ireland for a few years through an Irish umbrella company, paying tax in Ireland, and they're anxious that I become their W-2 employee once we move over and they are willing to provide anything I need for the application such as affidavit of guaranteed income etc. My questions are as follows: - Can I add my income to the I-864 form in the household income section with the US company stating in an affidavit they have been contracting me and employment once I land?
- If my two kids are on the same application, can they come back an forth every couple of months to finish school here with their green card? They'd be out of the country(US) no more than 4 months continuous or 9 months of the year in total. Our thoughts are to avoid having to get them visas at a later date and ensure they're set up for college when ready.
- I have consent from my kids mother if they choose to come and can have whatever needed in writing, is there form or anything legal that she would need to complete?
Appreciate the attention in advance! James

Hey everyone, I was wondering if you could guide me? I placed an expedited request for advanced parole in September with no update until today. They sent the email to the wrong address and are looking for evidence. I am wanting to return home for a very close family wedding and I am wondering want evidence would be required for such request? Thank you

Hello all, Newbie here, I need some advice about the Adjustment of Status through marriage. I met my other half in 2021 in California while I was on a visit (VWP). I reentered the US earlier this year on an H-2B visa currently working in Pennsylvania, we got married in Oct 2022 in California. My spouse is a US citizen and she works full-time in California but unfortunately, my visa ties me to the work location and switching employer/location is complex. Eventually, I want to move to California and this leads us to AOS! I recently had consultations with a couple of attorneys here in Pennsylvania but got a few conflicting advice But I heard people in this forum are kind and helpful so, here hoping someone can shed some light on the below and any tips The conflicting advice is about the field office location for the interview. Attorney A says the field office/Interview will be at Pennsylvania as I-485 is based on my address. Attorney B, on the other hand, says the field office will be in California as the petitioner is based there and that if I want the attorney to be at the interview it would cost extra for his time, travel and stay etc. We are fine with either location but what I don't want to do is hire a lawyer who is not familiar with or has less experience with the marriage-based AOS process. And before you ask the reason to hire an attorney, there are a couple of potential issues (red flags) which I will save it for next conversation Thank you in advance

Hi There, My wife and I are onto the medical part of the process and are having some issues figuring out if she has all the required vaccines. There is one that is no longer administered in Ireland so I didnt know if this will be an issue come the day of her exam. If anyone who has completed the medical can shed some light that would be greatly appreciated! Lexi

My husband and I are currently residing in Dublin, Ireland. My husband got a job offer in the US and we want to apply for DCF. Unfortunately the Dublin embassy does not offer this service so we applied to London and we explained our situation. They emailed us today to say they cannot accept our request. Is this because we don t reside in London? Someone please help!
