US Immigration from Indonesia

Hello.. I wanted to ask and just want to make sure once, after all the struggles and many things happened. Me and my fiance will send off our visa exactly next week. I wanted to make sure, well he got temporarily laid off from his work for 2 months. So, what should I write on the form for his current employment?

I know that silly question. But I just wanted to make sure

FYI : his manager told him that he will back to normally work again probably June or July.

When the beneficiary goes to the Embassy interview and bring all the supporting documentation of the ongoing relationship, (in our case, I have traveled 8 times for a total of over 150 days to visit,) are these documents returned or kept by the embassy? Thanks

Hi! I know I have this question in other forum but I still have a lot of question and by posting in it again I hope I could get clearer about this.

So, I got RFE for my K1 Visa. They need us could establish meeting in person within 2 year period before filing the petition. So here's my case, I am the beneficiary, was on F1 student visa when I met my fianc . This below are the files we provide along with our I-129F petition package:

1. Photographs

2. My passport, visa F1, stamp

3. I-94 form history of travel to US

Apparently, it's not enough to prove that we were met in 2 year period. Me and my fianc thinking to submit extra documents such:

1. Airline ticket to U.S and back to my home-country

2. Boarding passes

3. Affidavit from friends

4. new pictures

5. my student documents just to proof I was in the same city with my fianc at that time

Do you think is it enough? I am little bit confused how to convince USCIS that we really met within 2 year period. We don't really expect they questioning about this.

BTW I went to U.S before I met my fianc and I was a student so I don't really have itineraries or other travel documents. How can they tell that we were together if all my travel documents are for my education proposes and before we even met. I am confused and freak out when reading stuff like my case. should I be worry ?

Does anyone have any experience getting a Indonesian police report from outside the country? My fiance currently lives in Taiwan and can't go back or she'll lose her job. Her mother and brother still live there but I'm not sure if she has to be physically there to obtain the report. The nvc site isn't much help in this regard.

She's from Medan which is where her mother still lives so it shouldn't be too difficult I guess. We just don't know where to start. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We received the following RFE as part of k1-visa journey.

Our original plan was to get married at City Hall in the San Francisco courthouse. Previously, we did not provide any booking confirmations here, and plan on doing so now. However, the courthouse is currently closed (see here: https://sfgov.org/countyclerk/marriage-general-information) and no online, or in person reservations can be made.

So my question is, how I can we provide evidence for the booking reservation in this situation? We are planning to make a call to the court house and explain the situation, and at a best case scenario, receive a confirmation on interest of some sort.

Beyond this, we are also planning to also provide the following information.

Evidence of wedding preparation

* chat history

* courthouse booking for marriage

Evidence of ongoing communication

* chat history, birthday celebrations, new year, personal letters sent

* call histories

* chat export, and analysis on the text, such as messages sent, frequency of messages sent per week, etc.

Correspondence discussing your future and/or marriage

* chat discussion on career, education, medical, housing, kids, etc

Evidence of financial support

* money transfers for support, and bank statements

* tax return

* financial relation discussions on chat

Evidence of subsequent meeting

* meeting phones, discussions timeline form, plan tickets, booking reservations, passport visa, planning iternary

Evidence of an engagement ceremony

* <this goes in light on the question proposed (ceremony planned in SF courthouse)>

Evidence your and/or the beneficiary's family and friends are aware of the relationship

* communication with parents, both sides (video chat) with screenshots

* communication with siblings and friends

* evidence for plan on second trip for meeting parents, but having to cancel due to covid

Birth certificate of children born to the relationship

* N/A

Any other evidence that might shed light on the intent to marry.
