Parents of US Citizens who are generally Old age peoples above 65+ years have been left out in the current Executive Order . Are they not part of family ? Will they eat aways jobs of others . We all have filed I-130 for our respective parents with a hope to form our complete family . It is realy painful . Hello All, I am filing for my citizenship. Unfortunately I did not register selective service. I did some online research and found out that I can give it a shot and try to prove my good moral character background with few letters. I am planning to get letters from 3 of my mangers and a director I worked for at work (I work for a world famous company). Couple of letters from Soccer clubs I played for (president and coach). Couple of letters from my church. In total am planning 7 letters at least. Off course along with my status information letter. I am 29 now. and I did do a green card renewal at the age of 25. And I missed the selective service registration then as well. It was not intentional, it was a genuine human error I missed it (My mom calls it irresponsibility but I am responsible (character) in many other ways). Prior to that all my green card renewal process were carried out by parents and I was a minor and I didnt have a clue about this neither did they. I did all my education in India and hence again I didnt know about this requirement in school. What are my chances? I am going through an attorney and they seem to be pretty solid. They said outright this is a 50 50 case. Where it could go either way. I am trying to see if there are other people like my case in here. If so what was your experience? ANy advice you guys you would offer for me? Thanks in advance. Appreciate it.

Hello I married my Spouse in India during February 2020 . Her Child was more than 18 during our marriage and less then 21 of course. SInce he was over 18 , I could not include him in my I -130 . Can I legally adopt him and use the below under 21 law and get him immigrated ? My spouse and her son are in India. My Spouse visa is in Progress CR1. How and when I can start adoption proceedings and try to bring my Spouse to the USA? (v) any alien who is under 21 years old and is the child of a United States citizen, or who is a prospective adoptee seeking to enter the United States pursuant to the IR-4 or IH-4 visa classifications;

Hi All, Apologies if this topic has been covered elsewhere. I am a US Citizen and my parents are visiting me here on B1/B2 from India. They were supposed to go back to India by end of April but with the Covid situation , they cannot go back till India opens back up. Over the last few years they visit me and stay with me for a 4-5 months a year. With the Covid situation, I'd much rather that they stay with me permanently . Is it possible for us to start the GC process now (subject to it not being in the 60 day ban) before they head back? Or filing for a tourist visa extension is only option? Thanks for your help!
