US Immigration from Hungary

I recently submitted a request for expedited processing with USCIS - after a few days, they messaged me asking for more information. I promptly replied, and then they replied back in a few hours with this message " We received your request for expedited processing, and we will accommodate that request. Your case is now under expedited review. "

I just wanted to confirm that this does indeed mean the case is being expedited, or if it was awkward wording meaning something else. Sorry if this is an obvious question, but I wanted to ask on here before calling USCIS as my status on the website says nothing about expedited processing being official.

I recently have met a fine woman overseas, and I want to establish evidence of the relationship over time. What is the best way to do this? If the evidence of a relationship is strong how long does it take to bring them to the USA on a K-1 Visa. One year? 8 months? etc..

Going to keep this brief.

• My wife came here (USA) on a fianc Visa 4 years ago.
• We've had our first interview, but b/c of COVID 2nd interview has been delayed twice and we just keep getting sent Green Card validity extension papers. Hers are good until end of January as of this moment.
• We want to travel back to Europe in January, but her passport from her origin country expires this November and since our 2nd interview keeps getting delayed it's unlikely she'll get her American Passport before January.

So my main question is can we exit and enter the US using her expired European passport, but a valid green card? If so what do we need to bring with us to travel?
