Good afternoon, I was wondering if anybody else is having issues to get an appointment on the US Embassy of Tegucigalpa? I have been checking on the ustraveldocs website (CGI Federal) and I always get the same message "There are no appointments available". If anybody knows when is the best time check or the tentative dates on which new appointment slots are released please tell me your experience. I will appreciate your help.

Hello fellow VJers I am starting a discussion forum for anyone else who would like to encourage one another during the administrative processing time, or also known as the Black Hole! Our story and timeline. I submitted my petition for my husband in March, and with the help of my congress was able to have it expedited to NVC. Shortly after it was sent to NVC, it was expedited to Honduras Embassy. We were able to get an interview July 26, 2019 while I was visiting my husband for the summer (I have the ability to visit him on my school breaks). He had his medical exam done and completed before the interview, but during the interview we found out the Dr. did not send the medical exam. We were given a 221G form for the Medical Exam and was told that as soon as they receive it, they will review the case. We found out the following day that the Dr. needed to have my husband go through a drug monitoring program due to confessing of using drugs in the past. November, 2019 my husband completed his drug monitoring program with success and he sent his Medical Exam to the Embassy with his passport. My husband's passport was returned with no visa, but a form saying denied and still in Administrative processing. The embassy has only updated my husband's case about 5 times since November, so it becomes very disheartening to see nothing happen. If you come across my posting and you are in a similar situation and would like to share, please share. I would be so happy to hear from others and to be able to encourage one another through this process.

My husband entered as a K-1 last December 2018. We were married and we filed his LPR packet on June 21st of 2019. He did his bio-metrics and we were waiting for his work authorization and travel documents when his mother passed away suddenly on August 18th, 2019. He is from Honduras and they traditionally do not embalm and wait to have burial ceremonies. We did not have time to request an expedite process and he left on an emergency basis on August 19th, she was buried on the 20th of August. Since then I have been waiting for his travel documents (I-131) in the hopes that I would be able to travel to Honduras and bring him back. Today, I received and RFE on the I-131 stating that he traveled before the application was processed and we needed to show proof that he did not travel. I obviously can not show that proof because he did travel and is still there waiting for some type of document to allow him to enter the country again. I'm not sure if I should respond to the RFE explaining the extenuating circumstances with proof such as, the death certificate and letter from the church confirming her burial date etc. and request that they continue the application process? Or is there no other way around it other than reapplying? If we have to reapply, do I need to ask that they deny the complete LPR packet and reapply the whole packet or just the I-131? There is a section on the I-131 to have the documents sent to the consulate if you request it. With him outside of the country my funds are limited so I am trying to avoid having to pay the whole LPR application fees again and having to wait another year for him to enter the US again. If anyone can tell me what my options are I would really appreciate it.

I just received another e-mail tonight from travel docs that says this: Dear Alex *** Your document(s) have been collected from the US Embassy/Consulate The passport number being returned is ********* You have chosen to have your documents delivered to the following location: Agencia Cargo Expreso ************** If you have any issues or concerns, please contact us at www.ustraveldocs.com/hn. This is frustrating and gives me false hope when I see an e-mail from travel docs. My husband has been in AP as we have been waiting for his visa to get issued. Why would we be getting e-mails from Travel Docs when there has been nothing sent to my husband?
