So let me start with my sister s story my sister is from Honduras, she decided to come and seek for asylum with her son ( my nephew ) which they denied at the port of entry (Mexico ) so my sister try getting in with a coyote and my nephew was able to get in and be with my mom , I m gonna be a little clear about my sisters situation since if you know how bad my country is right now you would understand a little better ,there s so much violence and police don t do anything about it , my sister has beeen assaulted , robbed , to the point that she has been threatened to death by the child s father for a long time ....she has paperwork to proof police reports of domestic violence and everything, my sister try to get in by the border a couple of times in which each time she was deported , this last time was different she was trying to cross the river and a police officer started shooting , she ran and hit her head on a rock cutting half of her face and started to bleed , at the end of the day she was deported again , she is at a hospital in Mexico and my only question is , what can she do to come here by the port of entry? Can she seek for asylum ? Can she do something , as a sister I really want to help her I don t know what else to do , it hurts me and I m sure people in here would understand her situation , please help me

Has anyone had trouble adding a joint sponsor on the CEAC website recently? We've been waiting since last Tuesday for the Joint Sponsor to be added so that we can upload financial documents to my husband's parents cases, but still only see the "N/A" in the documents section that cannot be clicked on. We have tried calling the NVC several times over the last week only to get a "call back later" every single time. Has anyone had this same experience? Help!

Married spouse in 2013 in New York. She elected to change surname to my name. The Hondurans do not allow for straight name changes( first, middle, husband s surname) they require the name in her passport be according to their naming customs.(first, middle, father s last, mother s last, de , husband s last). So all of our immigration paperwork has been filed according to the way her name reads in her passport.(I-130, I-601A, DS-260) her green card also matches her passport. When it comes time to Naturalize she would like to use her legal name in the states to apply.(First, Middle, Husband s last). Not sure if she needs to request name change being that we already changed her name when we got married, I also don t want to delay the naturalization ceremony if I check yes because that ceremony needs to be conducted by a judge, if it s not necessary. Can anyone help with this? Thanks. Mike

I-134 Question..Annual income |

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, I have a concern regarding the I-134 form. My concern is involving my Annual Income . Before 2020, I ve only worked part-time. I started working full-time in June 2020, earning $17/hr so my my tax transcript for 2020, obviously states my annual income from June to December. In those 6 months the transcript shows I earned less than the poverty guidelines . Obviously if I would ve work January to December I would ve surpassed the Poverty guidelines . I m just concerned if that has any negative effect for the application or is it obvious that I earn enough if i work an entire year. I also have a letter from my employer stating that my job position is permanent. The manager did however forgot to write my Salary. Should i continue sponsoring my fiance myself or should i get a co-sponser as a back-up. Thanks in advance!!

Hello everyone, I am a business owner since 2010. I have a family/business partner member on a E-2 Visa that has been renewed 3 times. It is a restaurant and recently we purchased the building which puts us above the required EB-5 ($900,000) investment threshold. My question is: Can I, as her business partner, and family member, submit the application for a EB5 Green card without using a lawyer or USCIS accredited individual? I successfully completed the E-2 visa process which was complex and required similar investment and other documents.
