hello everyone! I am filling for n-400 online and there is this question Have you EVER been arrested, cited, or detained by any law enforcement officer (including immigration official or any official of the U.S. armed forces) for any reason? so I had a situation like 2 years ago where my dog got loose from his leash and an officer gave me a $500 ticket because of it and I guess I could have paid the ticket and get it over with but the officer said if I choose to appear after the judge and plead guilty they could lower the ticket so I did and indeed the ticket went down to $250. Do I have to answer yes to the question above? thanks in advance!!!

Hello, Anyone here from Guatemala City looking into the Spouse visa for the U.S. or from another non LGBTQ rights country? I am from Guatemala City and my partner is from the U.S. and I am very lost and overwhelmed with the process of it all. My partner will move to Guatemala for a while because we are tired of the distance. We are a part of the lgbtq community, me being from a country that does not support gay rights, so in order to get married we would need to either go to the U.S. or marry in a third country, which is what we would want, however, if we go for the third country option, my partner would need to go back to the U.S. and live there, while we file for the spouse visa and I stay in Guatemala, correct? is there a way we could file for it, while we both live in Guatemala? Someone I know from here, visited her at the time boyfriend in the U.S. bought a return plane ticket that showed at customs (3 months length) stayed there for 3 months and then married her husband as a lawyer advice. But, I don't even know if that is a good way to go about this? I want to keep everything fair and well done, and I worry if I buy a plane ticket for 3 months, they won't let me in or think it's sketchy (even if I were just visiting because I do work from home). I am lost as to what to do and so any advice would help! Thank you!

Hello everyone! so I'm just now filling out the N-400 application. When they ask for dates that you lived at a certain address or things like that, Do they want the exact dates or estimated dates are ok (I don't remember the exact dates for certain things)? also when uploading things to the system like green card can they be in back and white? thank you so much in advance!!!

hello all! so our joint sponsor just approached me to let me know that she wants to join the National Guard. She sent her application and was approved for interview (or something like that, sorry don't know much about that process). She is unsure if she is going to have to resign at her current job and if she is going to have any kind of income when she is in training for the National Guard. We are already Documentary qualified and we are waiting for our interview (we are subjected to the ban). she made around 44k last year and was supposed to make the same this year, I made around 10k last year and I have earned 15k so far this year and will make around 30k for the whole 2020 year plus I have around 20k in savings. Like I said I don't know how the National Guard works so I'm kind of lost. Question is, should I find another joint sponsor? or a letter or something from the National Guard will do it. I appreciate ANY information!
