US Immigration from Ghana

My wife and I have been leaving in Ghana for the past five years,we have two beautiful girls together,

My wife left to America almost two years now with our kids because her mom health wasn't good .

She and I both decided that she move with the kids back home and and file for the marriage visa for me so I can come join them.

Upon getting the she called me that she needs money to file for the visa for me ,which I did .she later called me and said I shouldn't call her again she is moving on with her life and I should send her money again so she can file for me to come be with my kids

Later she called and said she doesn't want me to come see my children again ,

Can someone please help me with legal advice

I am currently filing for my mother. I have completed all my document and paid all my fees and my case is currently with NVC. I stated in my application my father is deceased and NVC is requesting for death certificate of my late father. My father died in 1989 and my mum doesn t have death certificate. How can I address this concern with NVC. Please assist. Thank you

Just an update...

My wife had her visa interview last week Thursday 12th Dec. She was approved. She received a notice for passport pick at DHL on Tuesday but she went for it today. That is very quick.

I just received an email from the Councillor of Accra that states.

Dear Applicant,

The U.S. Embassy, Accra is ready to proceed with your fianc (e) visa application. After you have paid your fee and scheduled your appointment, you will come for your interview. Please review the following information carefully as you prepare for your interview.

The following are required for the visa interview.

1. Fill out the online DS-160 visa application form by following the instructions at https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/. Print and keep the DS-160 confirmation barcode page for submission on your day of interview.

2. Visa Application Fee: $265 or its equivalent in Ghana Cedis must be paid at any branch of Guaranty Trust Bank in Ghana. Be sure to keep the payment receipt number. This fee is non-refundable.

3. Schedule the interview: You must schedule your visa interview appointment by following the instructions at http://www.ustraveldocs.com. You will need your payment receipt to schedule the interview.

4. International Passport: Your passport must be valid for at least six months past your planned date of arrival in the United States.

It also has an attachment with instructions, i want to make sure this is the packet 3 please

Hi we have been stressing out if we should book a venue for our wedding before the interview. We are interviewing at the Ghanaian embassy. What are people s experiences with this? Have people been denied for not having any wedding plan evidence?
