My wife came here through our marriage, she was pregnant and after that she got pregnant again, she never had the chance to work,so did not earn income, but we always file tax jointly, can she apply for citizenship even though she never work or pay taxes?

Hi guys. This question is mainly for California Service Center Applicant. My window to apply for citizenship (N400) opened 2days ago but I still have a pending I-751 stucked at fingerprint for my application has been applied as my status. My question is, I heard from a lawyer from New York saying is better to wait to get approved on the I-751 before filing for citizenship. And that will make the N400 application to move fast than combo (I-751/N400). Please, I will appreciate someone that has experienced this to explain it because am kind of confused either to wait for I-751 to get approve before filing N400.

l filed for my son in 2014.

He was 19yrs by then.

The case was approved after he 21yrs.

At the time I was a green card holder and turned US citizen in June 2019.

He was invited for interview on 12/10.

During the interview he was told that his status has changed from F2B to F1 because of my status now.

He was given two options either to wait or get a retention letter to continue his case.

NVC is saying that his file is no longer with them and we should deal with my Country Embassy.

Any one with this experience? How do we go about it. My son s age 26 now.

I attended my follow up appointment on the 21st Jan. After a year under AP. The CO gave another 221g slip and indicated that we fill our ds260 and resubmit after which we need to book appointment for oath swearing. Then we should bring a new medical report. It s this a good indication that the visas will be approved on the next visit??

As a disabled veteran, I don not receive a w2 or a tax refund. What do I send to the NVC in place of my tax forms?
