I am a GC holder and my husband is in the US army. We are PCSing to Germany in 12/2021. My husband already received "soft" orders and now I am wondering how early is too early to file for naturalization under 319(b)? I would love to avoid paying more on fees if it would be OK to file now. I know a few ladies who applied in July and are PCSing in March 2021. Would anyone know what would happen to my paid money order if USCIS would say it is too early? Would they keep the payment or send it back to me?

Hello everyone, my husband and I are planning on filing for a visa for myself. We ve been married since 2015 and have a daughter together. At the moment, he lives in the states and our daughter and I live in Germany. Our daughter has a US passport and became a US citizen through consular report of birth abroad. Now, when filing the IR1, does my husband have to fill out a I-130 for myself AND my daughter even though she is a US citizen already and therefore not immigrating like myself ? Or is it enough to fill out the I-130 only for me, as the immigrating spouse ? what about the household size for the affidavit of support ? We are not sure how to calculate the household size in this case, with a child who is a US citizen. thanks for any help! Sarina

Hey All, my wife and I lived in the US from 2016 to 2018 / 2 years and then at beginning of 2019 moved to Switzerland due to my job. She has a permanent resident card that doesnt expire until 2029 and at this time it is unclear if we will be moving back to the US or not as we are soon expecting our first child, of course would like to keep the greencard if at all possible so we dont need to go through that headache of a process all over again should we decide to go back to the states, but dont want any trouble either. Just not exactly sure what to do here, keep it and let it expire? Surrender it ASAP? Thanks in advance. Cheers, -J
