US Immigration from Germany

Hey everyone,

I got my EAD in my K1 visa process about 4 weeks back, but I still have not received an SSN to this date despite checking the box. It worries me a bit, since most people report that it is actually a pretty fast process. I will go to my local Social Security Office next wednesday to inquire, but I wanted to check if anyone else had to wait a while for their SSN after getting the EAD? Thanks!

Hello, my fiance is waiting for his interview we've still yet received any information about it. They still haven't received his package for his interview and I'm worried and don't know what to do! I already asked him to try to get all his paperwork again and mail it out however with him being in Germany the first time he asked for all the paperwork it took a month or so! I've already asked my lawyer what I should do and I've asked the Frankfurt offices around every other week whether they've received it or not and they keep saying no.. Idk what to do because I don't want this entire process to be cancelled and have to go through it all again and pay everything again! I need help and guidance! What should I do?

I found this old thread about it but wanted to ask if somebody has some newer experiences with getting a DL in Mississippi on a K1. The homepage is not a big help since there's only information on how to get a DL while on a work or student visa.

Just preparing everything for the AOS and probably gonna send it in next week. So here's to another round of waiting

So I got here last week and I'm planning on sending the AOS stuff as soon as possible. Of course we don't have much evidence of a bona fide marriage right now. We have our marriage certificate and we can do a printout from deers that shows me being a dependent on my husband. Everything else will take a while.

Would that be enough as initial evidence or should I wait on sending the papers until we have more evidence?
