Help appreciated - Need to return to Europe urgently after oath but what about the passport?

I am somewhat stressed and any help would be greatly appreciated! My husband is on overdraws orders and I applied for naturalization unter 319 (b). It allowed to me apply from overseas but one of the stipulations is that the interview and oath will take place in the US.

However, I can t get an expedited US passport after the oath because they don t offer that service right now.

I have minor kids, my husband and also my job overseas and can t afford to get stuck in DC.

What are my options? Could I just leave and then travel back on my German passport? Or would I be allowed to apply for the passport from our base or through the embassy in Frankfurt? Or could I apply for my passport and have it sent to our APO address?

I know we are supposed to wait for the passport but I am looking for alternative solutions and would appreciate your help!

Advice/Experience: Whole family living abroad, no U.S. income

How have peoples experience been applying for a green card through consular processing (in our case in Germany) for a spouse when both spouses plus kids currently still live abroad and do not have any U.S. income. The ones applying for the green card will be my wife (stay-at-home mother) and my step-son, both not having any income and the only assets potentially being cash in our german joint bank account.

If we do find a sufficient joint-sponsor in the U.S. and we have some cash saved up ourselves (asset), is it still worth applying for a green card from abroad? Especially with this new public charge rule it seems difficult to get a green card for a stay-at-home mother with no income or job and little education and the U.S. citizen husband / main sponsor only having income from abroad / no U.S. income. The other inhumane option would be for me (U.S. citizen) to move back to the U.S. alone to get a sufficient job while my wife and kids stay abroad for the green card process.

We would really appreciate any help on this matter for our journey!

Hi,

thank you for all of you responding to my last post!

Anyway,

i was reading through some things about evidence to bring to the interview and one of them is pictures and phone call logs.

i just tried to take screenshots from all of our calls - one screenshot a month - but all i can access to was til 4/19/20.
i didnt take screenshots of any call logs when i last visited him in the US in September.

is there a way to get older logs back or should i screenshot the most recent ones and then explain that i couldnt access the ones after i last visited him anymore?

hope that weirdly explained thing up there is understandable lol

thank you

I need urgent advice - Husband's mental health Decision and how to get out of this

Hi,
So im a bit in a misery right now and have a few questions.

My husband quit his job friday a day after i asked him if he thinks we should try to expedite our Case which is still at The NVC.
So now he has no job but didnt file for unemployment benefits yet because he wants to go back to his old job and handle for better salary etc.
Anyway, the reason for our expedite would've been emotional hardship, he really wants me to live with him as soon as possible because his life is a mess at the moment with everything going on, mental health etc.

So when we expedite and they grant it, i will get an appointment and the officer at the embassy asks me why he quit his job, And i cant really give them a good explanation why he did, are they most likely to deny it?
Because of the reason that he has no income at the moment but is actively searching for a new job?
Also would he be granted to come visit me and to go to my interview with me?

my Mother in Law asked me if its possible for my former Hostfamily to be a co sponsor, we already submitted all of our documents and sent them off, i was on a J1 Visa as Au Pair 03/2017-12/2018, and got an email to become documentarily qualified already and they have received everything they needed.

So would it take longer for us to get an interview appointment if we submit another document, stating that my hostfamily would co sponsor me, if he isnt able to get a job ( or his old job back ) soon?

im just so out of options here and he continuously says that he needs me to be with him.
Can i do anything else meanwhile?
he wont get help from anyone, and its really hard for me to be there for him on the phone.

Im in Germany, which is in the Schengen Area & he's in WA, Seattle, USC.

im really in need for people giving me good advice or even help me out here.
do i need a lawyer?

Thanks
