Hi everyone ! Quick summary to get an idea of our journey so far ; we've met on the internet in around June/July 2017 and have been in a relationship for 2 years now chatting/skype/etc... basically every day. I went to visit 3 times, the latest trip lasted 3 months and allowed me to finally meet her family. Now that I am done with my obligations in France, we've decided to get to work and file an I-129F form for a foreign fiance. We have extensive proof of our relationship (be it online chat, friends, families, photos, you name it), but we're still extremely stressed about it, as you can imagine, and very worried about getting denied because we did something wrong while filling out the document. There are some very specific sections that leave us very confused as to how we should answer, and wondered if anyone could help us figure things out. 1) Address history ; as part of my studies, I went to the UK 3 years ago, for a 4 and a half months long internship, and had to rent an accommodation during this period. Considering that this place was a rent (through AirBnB to be precise), does that count as a physical address that should be provided in this form ? 2) Address move-in date ; in the same section, is required the date from/to we've stayed at a specific address. Considering that neither me nor my family have any clue as to what the specific day we moved in our current house is (no documents stating that, family basically decided to move in on a whim), the question is as follows ; how do I fill in this section when the only information we have is the month and year. 3) Internship = Work ? ; related to our first question, are internships considered employment, and hence need to be on the form ? 4) Maiden and Spouse name ; when filling in the information on my parents, I stumbled upon the simplest doubt. When asked for my mother's Family Name (last name), should I provide her maiden name, or her spouse name ? 5) N/A "complications" ; Do we leave blank any areas that don't let you fill in N/A due to character restrictions on the form ? Sounds to us like an automatic red flag to leave a section empty, so we're not sure what we should do. We sincerely appreciate anybody that would take the time to read this and could helps us out.

Hi everyone, I have my visa interview this Wednesday and have a question, back in October I filled up the DS160 and booked my appointment (yes no appointment available between October and January ..:/) and in between my fianc (the USC) got a new job. I got the updated affidavit of support , the letter of employment and the last W2, all showing he makes above the requirements. So when I arrive at the interview should I tell the officer right away about this change , should I wait until they ask questions about it ? and do you think the updated documentation should be enough? Sorry if it's a stupid question, and thank you for your time !

My husband has a valid ESTA. At the moment his passport is kept by the Paris Embassy post-interview due to AP. The AP takes longer time than we anticipated, and we suffer being separated for God knows how long. Question 1: Can my husband ask for his passport back? It's not an emergency, he just wants to visit his wife. Question 2: As his 221 (g) is due a missing document, the AP does not eradicate his ESTA and makes it invalid, does it?

Hello everyone ! I know it might be a weird topic but I'm gonna move from France to the US with my 14 yo dog who had never been on a plane ever... To say I'm stressing out is an understatement I was wandering if any of you had any tips (airline,...) or could share their experience with me. My dog weighs 22 lb and I doubt she would fit in a carrier under a plane' seat...

Hi there! I m an American married to a French man going on 4 years married and together for almost 10. We currently reside in France and have been for the past 4 years. I m here on a 10 year spousal visa. We recently have had our first child together who we ll be starting starting the process to get her dual citizenship. Once this is finished we plan to start the process to move back home to California. Question is, which visa would we fall under? There are so many it s actually quiet confusing! I m thinking we should file under the i-130 or Spousal Visa (IR1 / CR1)? Since we ll be applying from France will it be more complicated? We ll have a US based sponsor in my parents who more than qualify for the requirements needed Does anyone have any idea of how long we re looking at waiting? Thank you in advance to anyone willing to shine some light for us!
