Hello there: When processed for my N-400 Biometrics Appointment (ASC, Elizabeth, NJ), the agent only took my photograph, as well as the fingerprints of my right hand Index & Middle finger. I was surprised because I saw other applicants get both hands thoroughly scanned. When I asked him, he told it is normal because they already did it for my Green Card. Also, on the screen, there were only two scan image spaces, where both my index and middle finger prints went. Can you confirm that this was normal? Just want to make sure I am all done on that front and that I won't have to come back. Thanks

Hello ! I was wondering about self inflicted scars and if it could be a reason of deny at the exam. I am talking 15 years old scars. Would I need some letter from psychiatrists stating that those are old and I am well now ? Thank you in advance and everyone here for helping people !

Hello there ! Like most of us I got really confused about the whole process. We got our NOA2 but no welcome letter ( I heard its common). We called the NVC so I have my case number and ID number. When looking at the CEAC the case is READY for interview on the 21 of February. What are the next steps, I saw I was supposed to file the DS 260 so I did. I am supposed to receive a letter from the ambassy in Paris, how long did yours take ? Thank you so much

So I'm an american and my husband French. We're intending to move to the states with him on an i130 visa. Were applying from here in France with my parents, who are USA based being our sponsors. Recently my parents met with an immigration lawyer to get more information about the sponsor process. While there the lawyer mentioned to them there was another possible way for us to move over. We could both travel over to the usa and automatically start the process once we enter meaning my husband could legally stay while applying for his visa stateside. She said the process would be more of an adjustment of status and would take about 6mo to process where he can't leave the country until it is finalized. I know when we researched about this from everything I read this isnt really accepted. It was briefly mentioned by the lawyer so they dont have the exact information to give me for this, but is that possible? Would he have to enter on a tourist visa and then adjust status? Would it still be on an I130/A visa? I would think it would be visa fraud, so maybe there's a visa he has to apply for before&then do this? We'd hate go do that and only have him sent back over doing something frowned upon and delay our case anymore... Attached is a copy of the information process/timeline the lawyer gave them.... Thank you to anyone with information!
