US Immigration from France

My fiance, now husband, entered on 2/12/2020 and we applied for his SSN on 2/24/2020. He was told it would be about 4 weeks until he received his card. I called at the 4 week mark and was given the run around on his case. Checked SAVE and it gives a generic message stating the case was sent back to SSA blah blah blah. I called them weekly and no one was able to give me any updates other than they were waiting for DHS. Fast forward to today and he received a letter stating they cannot issue his SSN due to DHS unable to verify the immigrant document submitted (I'm assuming his I-94). With the shut down we are going to be SOL as his I-94 expires on May 11, 2020 and I don't see them reopening their offices this week and we are too close to the 2 week mark for them to issue. Has anyone else gone through this issue and have any resolution? This COVID-19 pandemic has added on more stress and anxiety to this process. Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone, my husband who is USC and lives in Seattle filed on line for I130 the 5th of feb.2020 and received the receipt number few days later.He sent an email yesterday to USCIS asking to know which center was processing our application. But Brooklyn,NY Fields is not listed among the services centers on his USCIS acccount. Do someone have had any experience with the Brooklyn center?How many time shal we expect regarding their processing time? Thank you

I previously wrote our story. My French husband had his CR1 interview on December 4, 2019 and was put on Administrative Processing for a missing document. Fast forward to March 2020, and Paris Embassy finally contacted him that his visa was ready and they needed his passport to put the visa in it.

By then my husband was in the US visiting me, then corona started, and his flight was

cancelled.

After some careful consideration of all the circumstances we decided to do AOS from the United States. We politely informed Paris Embassy about our decision and asked the Embassy to withdraw the CR1 visa application and send husband s documents to our address in the United States.

Today we received their response:

I'm requesting an inquiry from my Senator and the form asks for "Your (Non) Immigrant Status (i.e. citizen, LPR, L1 visa, etc.)". I applied for family based AOS from an F-1 visa. After receiving my NOA, my F-1 expired as I had finished my studies. I understand that the situation is okay (as in I'm not here illegally) but I'm not sure if there is a code or some other technical description for my status. Does anyone know?

Hi everyone !

I just got an e-mail from NVC telling me the status of my immigrant visa application was updated on the CEAC website.

So I checked and saw that all my docs (IV application + civil docs + AOS docs) were accepted !

I also noticed that they sent me a note in my "Messages" saying that I need to submit every form W-2/1099 from my already submitted joint sponsor's tax transcript.

Does that mean I need to submit them on the website (and maybe have to wait for another two months) or that I need to bring them to my interview at the embassy ?
