Hi everybody! I m a green card holder & I work from home. During the COVID-19, I barely go out, kinda scared to end up in a US hospital, can t afford it... so I wanted to go in France to be with my family to at least make the best of it. My question is does anyone of y all ever went out of the USA for 6 months? I m not sure how long I will be gone but I can t find the answer anywhere they do say more than 6 months per year can hurt you if you want citizenships but nobody knows if it s 6 months in a row or 6 months total in a year. I called USCIS the lady didn t even know! She said she THINKS it s in a row but wasn t sure. Let me know if you know something please! thanks

Hi, I left the US while the removing conditions of residency was being processed, I had the notice saying it was extended for 18 months and left after doing the biometrics. I ve been abroad since September 2019 and received the new green card without having to go for an interview in March 2020 in the US. My husband sent it to me in France. I m wondering if the fact that I left the US while the new green card was being processed is a big deal for me coming back in August, does it invalidate the green card? Would they think I abandoned the process?

Hi everyone, Just writing here to see if what I should do and if I should start worrying .. I send my AOS package on June second, tracking said it arrived on June 4th. Since then I got zero news, called USCIS last week and they say at this time they don't see any updated , and to email lockbox support. I emailed lockbox support a week ago, no news either. I checked the status of our money order , not cashed yet .. Did they lose my application you think? Thank you and have a good day Lisa

Hi everyone, I am actually at the last step of my immigration process through a CR1 visa, the interview at the consulate of US in Paris, FRANCE (consular processing). The problem is that I am at the moment in the United States under a tourist visa to spend time with my wife and kids during this crisis. My interview is scheduled for the 15th of July 2020 but I do not know if it is gonna be possible for me to even get out of the US to go to France do my interview. Also, even if I succeed doing this, I am not sure I can even come back on the US territory without problems. Do you think it is possible to request my interview to be here in the US due to the coronavirus and the risks I am exposing my family to ? If yes, I am suppose to re-enter US under the CR1 visa to then get my green card (last and final step), how do you think will that turn out to be ? I hope I made myself clear enough in this weird situation, Thank you for your answers.
