Hey everyone! I am in a bit of a weird situation and I wanted everyone's take on it. I submitted all of my documents to the NVC in January. They were reviewed last week. I received 2 rejected documents, which I quickly corrected and re-submitted. However, one of my documents wasn't reviewed with the rest of my documents last week. It was submitted at the same time as the other documents, but I guess it was skipped. It did not get rejected, or accepted. It was the Exchange Visitor Documentation (J1). I am nervous that this document will get rejected too when they finally review everything in 3 months, and then we will have to wait 3 more months again after that. Has this ever happened to anyone before? any advice?? Thanks so much!

Hello, i could really use some help with my case. i was denied entry on ESTA for seeking immigration benefits without an immigrant visa. I was told I could come back on a visa. I requested my FOIA and it shows things on the sworn statement that were not said to me. And all paper work says I need a waiver. It says I must obtain a visa with waiver for future entries. But I wasn t accused of anything, when I try to get a waiver none of the subjects apply to me. Every lawyer I ve spoken to has told me I should not need a waiver. but then why does this paper work say I do? Which waiver category do I need?

Hey everyone!! I had a quick question/wondering what other people's experience has been with this. My partner and I submitted all of his documents to the NVC mid-January, meaning we are expecting a review sometime in the next month/few weeks or so. However, I was looking over his paperwork again this week to prepare for his interview, and I found a strange glitch on one of our documents. For his birth certificate, I merged a pdf of the translation and of the original birth certificate. The first 2 pages of the document are the translation, and the last page is his original birth certificate. When I open up what I submitted on a web-page, the last page (the original birth certificate) is blank! If I open it using "system viewer" on my computer, the last page is there. If I open it on my phone, the last page is also there. I am nervous they will open it just using the webpage and therefore see a blank page. So I am wondering, should I re-upload another copy of the birth certificate? I have read anytime you re-submit something, it sends you to the "back of the line." We have just a few weeks of waiting left, so it kills me to think we would have lost all of this time. But also, maybe they will open it just fine and there will be no problem? I have also read that if you submit something before they start to review, it doesn't send you to the back of the line. Do people have experience with this?? I am not sure what the right thing is to do. Any advice is greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance.

Hi! I am a US citizen. My husband is a green card holder, he has a 10 year green card. My stepson is in France, he will turn 18 y.o. in a few days. We want to bring him to the US to live with us. The thing is, my stepson already had his IR-2 visa in 2020. He never used it due to the pandemic and family issues, so stayed in his home country with his mother. The visa expired, of course. Now, what do we do to bring him to the US as soon as possible? Do I have to start the process from scratch (I-130) again, or does his father (my husband) has to initiate it? Please advise! Thank you!

Hello, my fianc and I were approved for the interview for the K-1 visa. We are preparing our documents which requires form I-134. I am a student and I do not meet the income requirements. How do I have someone co-sponsor? Do they also just need to submit form I-134? Is there any need to fill out form I-1864 at this step or is that something that we complete after we marry in the US? Thank you for any guidance you can offer
