Expediting I-130 Petition Due to Security (Ukraine War) |

Since the war in Ukraine, I have been very worried about my partner's safety as he lives in Estonia, just by the western border of Russia. Throughout this war I've been very anxious and worried everyday that it might spill into where my partner lives. Russia's aggression towards his region have been really scary to me and the security situation over there according to him has been rather tense. Thinking about all this daily have been very difficult and not helping with my anxiety. I and my family have been war refugees and had left our country in the 90's to find refuge in America. I don't want my partner to face the same problems, not like being in away from each other for more than two years isn't enough! I had submitted i-130 petition for my partner over 2 months ago, and normal processing times are painfully long. Please is there a possibility that security reasons like this can be accepted by USCIS to expedite our i-130 petition? I just want to do anything to make sure my partner is safe.

Stuck on this question on the DS-160. "Have you ever been unlawfully present, overstayed the amount of time granted by an immigration official or otherwise violated the terms of a U.S. visa?" My fianc had to extend her stay by 2 weeks, back in spring of 2020 due to her flights being canceled. She reached out before her 90 days expired and was granted extension and left within that extension. She has been able to enter a couple times since then, one time she was forced to show her extension email because they didn't have it on file, or at least claimed they didn't. The other caveat is that ESTA is not actually a VISA. Any help here would be appreciated.

Hello everyone, Me and my partner submitted our i-130 a while back. But there are some evidence we didn't submit and want to add it to our K3 submission. We would like to add proof that shows my spouse added me as a beneficiary to life insurance policy (from employer) and also retirement account (401k from Fidelity), and also as Emergency contact at workplace. Please where can we gather this proof and what documents should we use? Thank you!

Hi, Some weeks ago I sent off my I-407. I left the US several months ago at this point and decided it was time to finally and formally give up my GC. Then shortly after my new job told me they'd like me to visit the US in September and October of this year to meet the team there. The postal tracking for my I-407 hasn't been updated so I don't even know if the GC and the form got lost or if they are still on their way.. (should have been delivered by now). Either way, I have no confirmation. The company had a quick chat with their lawyers and said I could try still applying for ESTA to see what happens. My ESTA got approved in a matter of ~2h -- everyone on this forum state that if I have an LPR status then the ESTA would get denied. The ESTA application didn't ask anything about current or previous legal statuses in the US. Am I good to travel in this case or will the Border Control send me back? My passport does show that I was admitted as an LPR back at the beginning of the year (last time I traveled back and forth to the US). I tried to contacting the Border Control as well but no luck so far. (I am obviously not looking to remain in the US and can provide proof of that if needed; these would be ~4-5 day visits only.) The lawyers and the company will also do some further research but I was hoping to hear if anyone has any first-hand experience.

Hi, I have a question regarding Affidavit Of Support I-864 form regarding part 5. My husband is the one filing the affidavit and i came here on the K1 visa. Household size is 2 in total. Since question 1 and 2 both require the answer 1, do i also need to have 1 in question 3 since we are married but he is sponsoring me with the affidavit? I tried reading the instructions but i am not 100% sure. Thanks in advance!
