US Immigration from England

Hi leaving for england to see my fiance on 9/2. any tips? I know i have to fill out the quarantine info. 48hrs ahead. Just triple checking to see if i have missed anything, since things seem to change so quickly these days.

We submitted our civil docs for spouse visa on May 29, 2020. I can see from NVC s page they are currently reviewing docs submitted on June 9 so they should have already picked ours up. I realize NVC is working on a smaller staff, there s a pandemic, each case is different, others have been waiting longer...and we haven t received anything indicating there s a problem, but I m just so anxious for some news. Once they pickup your civil docs, assuming it s all in order and there are no issues, has anyone seen on the NVC site or know what the typical processing time from civil docs to DQ is? Like if it s assigned, assuming there s no issues, do they take 2 hours to review the docs, 2 days, 2 weeks, 2 months??? I asked this on a Facebook visa group and someone said they think the posted NVC timeline page below isn t always correct. Has anyone experienced that? I m just wondering if we don t hear by a certain time if I should email? Best to everyone. I hope we all get good news soon.

I have just returned home to the UK from the US. I had gone through the K1 system to move over and marry my wife. Things had been very difficult with the work visa taking so long, the stress of not bringing in money etc. As well as along the way I think we both just realised we weren't ready. Especially the way the US system just pushes and condenses everything to happen so quickly, compared to your average relationship. Anyway my question is. Do I need to do anything on my end or does me ex need to do anything on her end? My interview got rescheduled for September just after I left. We have not thrown away the idea that after some time we may reconnect and try again, plus I would like to come over to visit possibly next year. Will there be any impact because I left ?

My husband got his biometrics appointment notice and for case types, they dont have the 131. Does the 131 not need biometrics? It has for case types 485 and 765. Just wanted to triple check. We also read that people brought their marriage certificate. Anyone have experience with needing that?

Hey everybody, so we are about to send off the AOS packet now, I have a question about biometrics. We re living in Coachella Valley, I believe our local office is San Bernardino if anyone has experiences from this specific area. (If not, I d still love to hear your thoughts too). I don t believe our office is closed so I m sure she will have to attend the biometrics appointment during COVID (probably very soon). She plans to wear a mask to her appointment. During her appointment, will she be asked to remove the mask for any reason? If this has happened to you, could you tell me the exact points in which they may require her to remove her mask, if any, and how long that lasts? She is very scared of catching COVID and I don t want her to worry about that on top of immigration stress. Thanks for all input!
