My wife got her AOS biometrics appointment notice yesterday, and it came with a worksheet for her to fill out and bring with her to the appointment. Does she fill out the original sent to us and give it to them, or can she just make a copy in case of error and give them the filled out copy? Thanks!

Hi all, We applied for the 485/EAD/AP 5/23/20. My husband had his Biometrics Sept 1, and got his AP/EAD card 9/30 (expedited due to a family member in england passing which he went back for funeral) Has anyone been through that same timeframe and receiving any update on the green card interview yet? That is the last piece of the puzzle! We heard some are being waived to COVID, but wasnt sure how true that was. Should we prepping stuff now for the interview, and yes, what? Some timelines said we may not hear anything until February, but thought I'd ask on here too. Again, this is for the Chicago office Thanks all

We got the biometrics appointment letter in the mail today, it says it s only in reference to the I-485 and the I-765 though. Will we need to go to another biometrics appointment for the I-131? Thanks!

My wife has tried to open a checking account with many banks, and all of them require her to be a lawful permanent resident. She doesn t have a green card yet, we just sent the AOS package in august. They require her to pass the IRS substantial presence test or the green card test, both of which it appears she doesn t pass. She doesn t have a green card and she hasn t been living in the US for 3 years. What is she supposed to do? How do they expect her to have a bank account at the AOS interview when she doesn t even have a green card to open a bank account? All help appreciated, thanks
