Change in signatures in evidence

Hi all! Me and my fiance are putting together our pack for the I-129F and getting evidence.
One piece of evidence worries me. We have a lot of stuff from a big trip we took that will be used as our evidence for in person meetings. One of them is stamps in my old passport that show me entering a country (my partner has the same). However, my old passport includes my old signatur as I got it as a teen and used it for the past 10 years before renewing in the last few months.
Is this a cause for concern? Will they accept it with a different signature?
Everything else is the same and the ID photos look like the same person (albeit 10 year difference).
I think we have enough overall evidence that we will be fine (bank statements, photos, hotel bookings etc) but the passport stamps are good solid evidence so I hope they are usable.

Help with first tax return since marriage

Hi we are filing our joint tax return for the first time since marrying in December. We know we have to file W7 and get an ITIN etc but we have a question about the tax return itself.

Do we need to enter the foreign spouses income in the same tax return being sent to IRS with form W7

if yes (which I believe the answer) do we enter income just in 2020 calendar year and how would we attach W2 as U.K. citizens do not get W2

uk citizens get a Tax Year to date P60 slip on April 5 for everything earned from April 6 - April 5 as that is the tax year in England.

So how would we attach a document if they do not provide such in the U.K. Has anyone else had this issue and how do you get around it? Do we just add up the U.K. citizens income for the year and add it without any slip or form of proof?

Hi All,

I have had a look at the forums and can't find what I need, if anyone has some advice I would really appreciate it!

My brother and I are UK citizens and both live in seperate states of the US, I also became an American citizen 4 years ago and my brother is on a 10 year green card, he has been in the States I believe 20 years and is married to an American, they have a family. I have a daughter who was born in the States.

My questions are:

1) My mum is in the UK, she has been with her partner (who I consider my step dad) for 19 years but they never got married, they are both in their 70's and do not work. Is there any way to bring them both to the States if they are not married?

2) I would love them to live with me/buy a place together but they are worried about health care, my step dad has some health conditions and they rely on their UK pension and the NHS for dental and healthcare.

Can they get any healthcare or pension here or would that be on them out of pocket, they wouldn't be able to afford it and loose the pension they have in the UK.

Many thanks for any advice!

Where to file 601 waiver?

We definitely need to file the 601 waiver, but on the waiver in Part 7, page 7 it states, You must file Form I-601 while in the United States. The visa was refused at the interview though so he s still in UK. I ve seen that it should be filed at the Embassy if he s not at the US, but I think that s old because I can t find on USCIS anything for sending to the Embassy. Can anyone confirm, if I get his signature on everything do I file it and send to the USCIS Phoenix Lockbox? Thanks!

Need help with RFE asap

We have received an RFE asking us to prove that the marriage is bonafide.

The evidence submitted should cover the entire period of the marriage. Such evidence may include, but is not limited to:

(a) Proof of joint insurance policies or that one party was listed as a beneficiary on the insured spouse s policy;

(b) Property leases, mortgages, or registrations;

(c) Shared financial obligations and assets such as jointly filed income taxes showing that each return was properly filed with the state or federal government, or jointly held bank accounts, credit card accounts or utility bills;

(d) Testimony or other evidence regarding courtship, wedding ceremony, shared residence and experience. You may submit your own statements or affidavits from others.

If you submit third party affidavits you must submit a sworn statement explaining why the usual supporting documents are unavailable. Additionally, each affidavit must conform to the guidelines cited below:

We do not have join insurance policies as we do not live in the same country as each other and have never thought into it that deeply. We were only married on December last year and the evidence requested is to cover the entire period of the marriage. We don't have property leases together either and we do not have joint financial obligations. We tried opening an account in US and they won't let us due to one being a UK citizen and pretty much the same with everything else. We are only citizens of our own country and are not able to open such accounts together.

Please any help is really appreciated.
