Our visa interview was a complete nightmare. My husband and I have been together for 13 years and i brought pictures dated back from 2011 til the present as well as bills showing our address has been the same since 2012 when we Bought our house. I brought all I could that the lawyer told me to bring and provide, but to say the lawyer didn t prepare us is an understatement. 1st he should have given us a list of all the questions we could be asked so we could better be prepared he only went over maybe 6 Questions, then even during questions that was way inappropriate the lawyer didn t even speak up, he was no different than a fly on the wall would have been. He didn t even write down the interviewers name so we could file a complaint if needed and in this case it s needed. First the interviewer didn t even write down any of our answers we provided or type them in, and you can t memorize someone whom you just met answers. 2nd the Questions he asked us were conflicting he ask me has my Husbands family visited our home and ask him has my family visited our home and then wrote on our NOID that the answers didn t match, well ofcourse you can t match answers to different questions. Next he asked me where exactly Nelson was working out of town in March 2020 a yr and a half ago Nelson travels constantly to different states and jobs as a roofer I told him I can tell u every state he worked in but I can t tell u what week he was where. He asked Nelson in the last 3 years what was your 3 largest jobs Nelson said I worked in Michigan for 8 months and Florida for 4 months the interviewer wrote on the letter that from June 2020- feb 2021 he worked in Michigan for 8 months which isn t true he didn t work there at all in 2020 the tax returns proves that so again he is writing down answers that weren t the answers or answers to different Questions. He asked me what I did for Nelson s birthday this year in which I answered 5 times Nelson is rarely home on his actual birthday day but I give him a card and cook him dinner meaning I give him those things once he gets home that weekend Nelson answered he was out of town working which is what I said numerous times and this is another reason why he should have been documenting our answers and asking the same questions. There was many many more results in which he is saying false facts and not asking us the same questions some times they are way different questions which is a real problem. Then I find out from other lawyers in our area that there s been many issues with the Charlotte N C office where they were doing this same thing to other couples. The sad part is the interviewer is Latino so he has more than likely went through similar situations or someone is family probably has which makes this extra wrong. My husband and I have been together since 2008 our relationship is 100000% real I get that others has abused the System and they have to be cautious about who they give a green card to but there s a difference between those people and someone who has pictures together with you and your family since 2011 and it is showing that date on the pictures, no all our bills aren t in both of our names but there s some and then there s others that s in ones name and the other person is the authorize user. But to have all those false statements on the NOID. How to you respond in a way to defend yourself without angering the man and he denies you. That is an extremely unfair place to be. I am getting together lots of proof if he wants it he s gonna get them so I have printed off bank statements from the last 18 months where I went back and highlighted in different colors for different categories. I also printed our tax forms again to prove he never worked n Michigan last year I also printed off our bills and the Proof were authorized users I got 6 more support letters from people who witnessed our relationship I copied all the cards we ve gotten for each other and I also went back to 2011 in Facebook printed all posts referring to our relationship cut them out put them in order from earliest to most recent and im

not sure what else I can get but please if anyone has any more ideas please let me know and if this doesn t work then I will most definitely be appealing and after that considering this seems to be a common occurrence for this interviewer I will be filing a complaint and I feel he shouldn t be over peoples lives it s not right he can go be a secretary or work at McDonald s if he can t be unbiased open minded transparent professional and respectful then he doesn t deserve the right to be in a position where he plays God Period and I will try everything possible to make sure he doesn t do this to any other couples but what I hear is that there s some serious problems with the Charlotte office it sucks we had to go to that one and that we got that interviewer on top Of that who lied and I think had his mind made up before we even met him but I won t lay down and just say ok I accept my husband being denied NOT A FREAKING CHANCE(: he got the wrong woman this time because I will fight for my man and the only dad my kids have ever really had in their Iife since they were little. Nelson has always been here legally on a work visa since 1997 and it s not fair he s being treated like he s not truthful and our relationship is completely real it s a shame when people whose arent gets approved No problem and peoples who is does not that makes no freaking sense at all. I pray I m able to show with a mountain of More documents that we are in love and are in a committed relationship fingers crossed but this is really frustrating in so many ways

Hello,

I received a letter from NVC stating that my application(bring wife and kids) was completed and the letter provided Interview dates for my wife and kids. I'm now trying to "register" my appointment through the Visa information Center(VIC), but after my wife signed up and went through the process the VIC advised her that all she needs to do is be at embassy during the date and time in the NVC letter.

Now my problem is that, when my wife tried to scheduled medical exam(for her and kids), she was asked for the "UID" number for her, my son and daughter. The VIC did not provide me these numbers or my kids (even after i put their names down as my dependents) , all i can see is 8-digit number next to my email address, but i cannot see any UID numbers for my wife and kids.

Any help will be much appreciated it.

Waiting to schedule an interview in El Salvador

I am permanent resident and started the process in 2014 by submitting I130 for my unmarried daughter and her 3 children (derivative beneficiary). Two of her children were under the age of 21 when we filed and are now over 21. The USCIS approved the petition in January 2020 right before the pandemic. The visa became available in 2021 as well. I submitted all the required documents by August 2020 and received a notice from the NVC regarding the immigrant Visa Case becoming Documentarily Qualified in October 2020. March 2021 I received another notice that the case would remain at NVC until there was an appointment available. On March 5 2021 I sent a request to expedite my case and received an email on March 15 2021 that the US Embassy/Consulate General in SAN SALVADOR, ElSL approved my request based on my grandkids aging out. May 2021 I received packet 4 and did not have an appointment date and only has the primary applicant and one minor child at the bottom. On the notice it states that if the appointment is not at the bottom to proceed with the instructions. I've called the Embassy and I get different information each time I call.

1. There are no appointments available and to keep trying

2. There is an appointment but would not be for all

3. Everyone shows on the report but no appointments

4. We are waiting to add the other two dependents

I sent another request to add the other dependents that they claim are not there and it's been over a month.

Every time I try to log into the website USTRAVELDOCS.com and follow the prompts it says my documents are still at the NVC and to wait.

I was advise by a representative at the embassy to state the I missed an appointment when following the prompts and get the I get a message that no appointments are available.

My case has been sent to be expedited does anyone know what I can do to get this interview scheduled or are experiencing similar.

Category is F24

Any advise.

Thanks

BREN

I'm really desesperate by now. I was told two weeks ago by NVC that they have all the information needed for my husband case, so they said he is good to get an interview at the embassy in El Salvador and they will contact me when they get an appointment for him. But does anyone knows how long does it take? We have a baby together and I want him by my side so he can help me raising him. I am a diabetes type person who sometimes have to miss work thanks to that so if I don't make money no one ggive me cash lol. So if he is here he can help with money too. I am a citizen I even waited to become one to start his case but at the NVC the visa type is as F21 which I don't understand why. So I don't know if that's the reason our case is going slower.. I hate to be waiting I don't have time to go and visit him in El Salvador. So if anyone has any information or advice on how to make it go a lit faster let me know. Can I try to go for an expedite case? But kike I said I just have diabetes type 2 and he has high blood pressure that thanks to this stress is not controlled.
