US Immigration from Dominican Republic

Hi, I'm doing consular processing for my husband, our pd is oct 25 2023. I applied for k3 on December 2023 and I didn't see any movement on my case yet.

My wife brought me over here from the Dominican Republic on the K1 Visa. We got married last week. And we are now looking into applying for my adjustment of status. I wanted to add my unmarried minor Daugther to my application. Is there anything that I should be aware of in reference to the steps? I want to make sure to do everything correctly. Thanks !

This thread was created for those who are waiting for their NOA2 K-1 case assignment from NVC and then tracking your case onwards to your Embassy.

Your case will be forwarded from USCIS to NVC shortly. Once your case has arrived at NVC , you will be assigned a new case number (your old USCIS case number will not give you any NVC updates).

NVC sends petitions to the embassy every two weeks on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I noticed a 2024 shipping calendar being shared so I have included it below.

You can use that calendar to track when the next shipment date will be.

my son in Dominican republic is been waiting for an embassy interview since January 2024? every 2 months we only get emails saying to keep waiting for a interview To be schedule in the next 90 days ,but nothing happens. how long more this will take?
