US Immigration from Dominican Republic

I'm a US citizen married to a Dominican Republic national. I petitioned both my wife and her 13 year old son. On May 14 we received email that my stepson visa appointment is scheduled, but we are still waiting on my wife's appointment letter. Can they be scheduled on separate dates? Should I expect my wife's letter soon?

June 26, 2020 We accepted the fingerprint fee for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status. Our National Benefits Center location is working on your case.

June 23, 2020 We received your Form I-485, I-765

My mom got her medical and vaccine at Servicios M dicos Consulares, they told her they are going to send the results straight to the embassy but I thought she would have to pick them up, they told her she is just picking up the vaccine card.

Is that normal?

She takes hypertension medication, could it have something to do with that?

We were all set on filing k1 once my divorce is final but I heard that we should wait 6 months after divorce finalization before applying or do CR1 instead

quick background: I am the us citizen I was married 10 years. Met my now fianc a few years back while separated. I stayed married due to some financial issues and kids etc plus wasn t sure I ever wanted to remarry so no rush. But things changed and of course now I want to marry and so ex and I began the divorce process last year. Should be final in a few months and I d like to apply ASAP for my fianc .

Any suggestions or recs? Is the CR1 a better option in our case? Anyone been through similar things?
