Criminal charges impact on removal of conditions/temporary greencard

My ex-spouse (to be) entered the USA on a marriage visa early 2019 and got arrested for domestic violence abuse and went to jail for a few months before he (possibly) applied for removal of conditions and before he filed for divorce while separated, how will this affect his removal of conditions if his criminal case is still pending in court (he is being charged by the State for 3 criminal charges) and the divorce is not final yet either as it's contested and awaiting divorce trial.

Will USCIS still process his application (if he filed one), deny it or put it on hold if the legal process for criminal charges and divorce are still pending taking long to be resolved due to court scheduling and delays? Is he considered out of status since he was supposed to remove towards end of last year? I am not sure if he has applied for removal of conditions yet; do you think he did/wise to do under his circumstances? What are the chances of him actually getting approved for a permanent greencard under this circumstances? He has also been reported to USCIS for all sorts of domestic abuse etc. How do you foresee this realistically ending, immigration wise for a greencard and US Citizenship?

Safety concerned abused spouse, with children involved.

Good Morning, Good Evening , Good afternoon all.

I (petitioner) have submitted 129f for My fianc and her kids and it was approved. February 21st of 2021 she went to have her Interview but pregnant with my child at the moment. The officer asked is she would have the baby born in her country or in the United States. She and I agreed to have the baby born there. Big Mistake, although it was cheaper we are paying for it in time. . Let me explain.

Since the baby was to be born in the Dominican republic (may) she received a 221G letter stating that we need to complete a CRBA for the baby and have it sent over to the embassy. Sounds easy right? well it was not. We had to wait until the baby was born which was May and after he was born it took about 2.5 months to find a open date to book a CRBA appointment. Once we booked the appointment in Santo Domingo and was approved the same day, we still had to wait about another month for all his documentation to be mailed to her house.. Fast forward to October. October 8th is when the embassy received all the requested documents that was listed on the 221g letter she received back in February.

I have checked the two websites to check the current status of her visa. One site is the ustravel docs and the other is the ceac site. the ustravel site has updated to where now it shows "deleivery Status" but its blank. The caec site shows her care was updated October 13; however the status still shows refused. I have called the numbers to contact the "embassy" and they are really useless. Its like they are reading answers off a script and if you ask anything that is not on their script, they gives answers the may or may not work to what your asking. I did some more digging to find out how long the 221g would be completed and on two different sites shows two different time frames. One site say 180 days and the other says 60 days!?

I swear this whole process needs a overhaul! this is stressful. I can only go visit her and my son every 2-3 months. He is growing without me and that is hard! D

I guess my question is; Does anyone have any experience with 221g letters from the Dominican republic and how long did it take to be resolved?

Hello,

My husband and I just recently got married and they are asking for documentation that we dont have as yet because he lives in Dominican Republic. We dont have documents like leases, bank accounts or children together yet. What other evidence can or should I send? Pictures, Western Union Receipts, Trip Itineraries from airline and hotels from my trips to see him, pictures from wedding, pictures of when I have gone to visit him. Any else you can think of? Thank you in advance!

I am currently working on filing my I-130 application online for my husband. This is my 2nd marriage. My ex husband who was also from the Dominican Republic and who I petitioned for and is now a US citizen. We were married for 14 years. There is a question on the application that I don't know how to answer because he no longer is an "alien". Please help! Thank you.

This is the question on the application:

Have you EVER previously filed a petition for this beneficiary or any other alien?

Also this question - Not sure because I filed that petition by mail and it went directly to Embassy in Dominican Republic back in 2006 so not sure.

Where was the petition filed?

City or town
State
