My fianc came to the US twice on a two separate J-1 visas. He stayed in the US for 4.5 months the first time and 5 months the second time. Will he need to obtain a police certificate from the US for the interview?

My fiance lives in a pretty undeveloped part of Dominican republic. He does not have a street name or house number/typical address (example: 123 Smith St). Not sure how to go about this for my application. Thanks in advance!

Hello everyone I have a question, my husband went to pick up the medical documents in Santo Domingo but they only give him a vaccination

sheet. For my understanding they had to give me a closed package that he had to take to the interview himself is this so?

I am trying to schedule an interview appointment for K1 visa and it says there are no appointments available. How does this work? Do I need to just keep checking to see when an appointment is available? Is this normal?

Premium Tax credits toward Healthcare of US spouse

Hi all. I have been so distracted with work that I've NOT been at all caught up with the latest in the immigration side of things. So sorry for the ignorance.

My US citizen wife, was a Medicaid recipient and after change of income (when I started working) she qualified for a Premium Tax Credit toward a healthcare plan. She signed up for it and use it for the month of December only. I don't have, not interested or plan to use any healthcare or any kind of program from the government. The form to include that tax credit on our taxes was mailed under my name (as I am the only income earner in our tax family) but notes my wife as the beneficiary or person covered by the health plan or using the tax credit. Overall, do you see this affecting me (the immigrant) in the long run? even though the tax credit goes to her coverage and not me.
