Possible refund for delayed I-131 application from 2020? (reentry permit) |

Back in 2020 I applied for a reentry permit to be able to be closer to home/my family during COVID for a longer time (brexit related so there was a timing issue). Due to COVID this obviously took much longer and I wasnt able to do as I planned when I recieved the interview date - and thus was forced to stay. At the time I just rescheduled my biometric appointment at USCIS to avoid doing a no-show. Much later they have now given me a new date, so I am thinking: Will I have any chance of trying to cancel my application now and get a refund? OR is there any way to postpone/reschedule this for a point later in time where I might need it? Planning to call USCIS either way and hear, but just wanted to hear if anyone has any experience/knowledge of whether I would have a case..

interview scheduled called USCIS- they advised me of interview date mid March - 2 days before our 2 Year Marriage date - I would love NOT to have to go through the removal of conditions after our last two years experience with USCIS - trust everyone here will agree with that. will it be wise to ask the Immigration Officer to hold off 2 days before approval??? anyone been through a similar situation????

Hi all! On different parts of the forum show different requirements for the AOS packet, specifically the financial documents, so any input is appreciated! USCIS website states if you send the tax transcript you do NOT need relevant paystubs, but this info has been debated in the forums. I don't want to end up with an RFE like many do for sending too much evidence! We are getting ready to file hopefully in the next week. I (US citizen) am sponsoring my Danish husband, for reference. Evidence pieces are bolded. What we have: - Cover page
- G-1450 (CC auth form for the amount of $1225)
- G-1145 (E-notification of acceptance)
- i-148 Adjustment of Status
- Copy of Danish Passport and Entry Stamps + visa page
- Copy of i-129F petition NOA2
- Original Danish birth certificate
- Certified copy of marriage certificate
- 4 passport style photos of husband with A number written on the back
- i-864 affidavit of support
- copy of last year's tax TRANSCRIPT with my income over the poverty threshold
- copy of my new job offer letter
- copy of my USA passport bio page
- i-765 employment authorization
- i-131 advance parole
Thank you

Hi all! I am signing up for my husband to be added to my health insurance through ACA/healthcare market place, specifically in Nevada. It's asking to confirm his legal presence in the USA and the documents listed don't really align with our situation. Of course he has a K-1 visa in his passport, but technically that doesn't qualify as an immigrant visa. As we are still compiling our AOS packet, and he is still in legal status on I-94 until the end of January, we don't have any other "proof" that he is allowed to stay. Has anyone dealt with this before? The documents they are asking for are immigrant visas, green card, notices of action, student visas, etc. If we have to wait until we get a NOA for AOS, we will be outside of the open enrollment/special enrollment period. Any ideas on what to do?

Hi all! We recently filed our I-130, and just received the NOA1. We submitted a bunch of documents showing evidence of a bonafide marriage, but when we login to the USCIS platform a lot of documents seem to be missing. Our lawyer says they submitted everything we sent them. My question is if anyone has experienced any issues with the USCIS platform just not showing everything? I've added a picture of what I'm talking about, the file says part1, but there are no other parts.
