Ustraveldocs kept giving me errors, then froze my account, need help |

Hello, I have received the email from nvc that they sent my case to the Prague embassy yesterday morning. I already had the ustraveldocs account, so I logged in, and followed the steps in "new application/schedule appointment". I got to step 8 where it asked me to confirm the case ID, but when I hit the confirm button it gave me error message saying ""To attest payment you must enter your receipt number and check the box." Which was very confusing as it didnt give me any payment options yet and there were no boxes to check. I figured there was something wrong with the website and tried a different browser, which turned out to be a big mistake as I think that is what gave me the freeze on my account. I emailed the Prague embassy first, but then I learned that there is a ustraveldocs email adress (support-czechrepublic...), so I emailed them explaining the situation and asking for help (that was before I found out the account was frozen). So far I only got an auto generated email from CGI support saying they changed my password. To make things worse, they (CGI support, which i didnt email at all) sent me an email for new users with my login details to my gmail (but I already had an account made with my czech adress, the one they froze), so in hopes I could get past the freeze and finally schedule the appointment I logged in, but it just made me merge those two accounts - I have 2 email adresses, I used the Czech one to create the first account and the gmail to email them about the error message since my czech email looks a bit sketchy to non-czechs, but they probably just took it as that was my login email and sent me a new password for that again this morning. I don't think anybody has actually looked at the error message I got, at least not yet, and I am quite worried that when they finally un-freeze my account, it will be the same issue with the same weird error message. Do you have any advice as to who to contact or how to get help with this? Also, is it possible that if I dont confirm the interview date within x amount of days, they will give it to somebody else? the wait time I got is already way longer than everone else I have seen in Prague, so I would be really dissapointed if it got postponed yet again. Thank you!

Embassy demanding Covid boosters (3rd dose) at medical? |

Hello, Does anybody know what the actual recquirements for the covid vaccine are from CDC? I thought until now that I have to be "fully vaccinated" (= 2 doses of a 2 dose vaccine), in order to pass the medical for my visa interview (CR1 immigrant visa). Somebody just told me however, that she had to take the vaccine booster in August, since they told her her 2nd dose was older than 6 months and therefore she was not "fully vaccinated" anymore. She also needed to get her tetanus shot after 15 years, so she ended up having 2 vaccines in the same week (and got pretty sick) and as I am due to my tetanus shot as well, I would like to avoid that scenario... That being said the old medical place for the Prague embassy was quite sketchy (horrendous reviews, rude staff, bad practice overall...) and they have changed it since to a new location (slightly less sketchy). Is it possible that the old place was just demanding that for no reason, or is there a 6 month rule somewhere that I am not aware of? Thank you

We submitted all documents on August 7th and today I got an email from NVC that our ceac account has been updated. So I logged in, all our documents are accepted. But there was a message saying - Please submit every 2021 W-2/1099 form for (my husbands name). I guess that that's and RFE, although it doesnt specifically say that anywhere on the site (I didnt know what to expect, I wouldve thought that we would get an email specifically saying "you got RFE" or someting). We uploaded last 3 years tax transcripts and the way my husband talked he said that theyre the same thing, so I guess they're not. I assume that once he uploads it, the wait starts all over again, so another 2-3 months? Im really getting depressed over it, we have waited so long at the uscis stage and now this

Hello, My husband (the petitioner) just paid the NVC fees on Friday and we are waiting to be able to upload all the docs for NVC. I am still quite confused about some things though: 1) I am Czech and will be doing interview in Prague, Czech rep.. That would imply I do not need to have my civil documents translated, right? But then on the Prague embassy page of NVC website it states I must bring translations and I have even seen somewhere on the NVC website that it said "notarized" translations, but I can't find that particular page rn to confirm. So which is it lol. I got both my birth cert. and police record translated, but not "officially" (we have what they call a "judicial translator", but if I want their signature to my translations that's another fee... Should I upload the originals' scans and then bring the translation to the interview in Prague maybe? There arent very many people from CZ here, so it's hard to find people who have got some experience there 2) How old can the police records be? I had mine done on March 29 as I was leaving to the US for 2 months to be with my husband and wanted to have it ready in case we got approved by uscis (that was quite naive in retrospect). I found information saying they should be valid for 2 years, but I also found information saying they are only valid for 6 months, making submitting a March record quite risky. Getting a new one isnt a problem, but if I need another translation, that's yet another fee. Obviously Ill get it if it's neccesarry, but if the 2 year rule applies it's a waste of money Thank you!

Hello visajourney community! My fiance is located in Belize and I in the United States. He has been an integral part of developing my small business so we decided to approach his visa as a B1/B2 tourism/business purpose. We completed the DS-160 form, paid the fee for the visa appointment, and now his appointment is coming up in a couple of weeks. I am curious if anybody has experience they can share with what he needs to be fully prepared for his appointment as well as what the next steps might be. I greatly appreciate any insight anybody has on the process as a whole. I am anxious to get him to the United States so I can share aspects of my country with him the way he has his with me. I also have outlined benefits for the small business for him to visit the US. Thank you so much and I look forward to hearing anything you all have to share!
