US Immigration from Cuba

Hello! I have been struggling to fill out the I-129F because I do not understand Cuban addresses at all.

If for example the address is:

Calle XX #XXXXX E/ Calle x y Calle x Reparto Magdalena Cotorro La Habana (this is how it appears on my fiance's ID)

Where does each section fill into on the form? Also, does Cuba have a postal code?

I received the NVC case #, and they told me it was assigned on 03/18/20. not sure when it is sent out and they could not give me that information, but I told my fianc to do the DS-160 which is what I believe is part of the next step. but now im confused again, and im not sure if I read somewhere that If I had to do the DS-160 as well or is it just the beneficiary? also once we have that confirmation # what else if anything needs to be done to get an interview date?

If you apply for a K1 visa but the US embassy is closed in the country that your fiancee resides in does USCIS determine where your fiancee will have to attend the interview or can he or she scheduled an interview with a US embassy in another country that he or she can travel/visit just for the interview process.

Please read my story I could use some sympathetic ears in addition to any advice on the port of entry question at the end.

Like many of you my fianc e and I find ourselves in a tough position with this global pandemic. We interviewed in December in Guyana. He s Cuban so we had to travel to Guyana to do the interview. He had some changes on his lung xrays that meant he had to do a sputum test and return back to Cuba for a minimum of 8 weeks to await the results of the culture. We got the results, they were normal. He then had to send his passport back to Guyana via DHL, wait for the visa to be issued, the embassy in Guyana issued the visa and sent it back last Monday 3/16.

His passport with the visa is now in Panama and has been on hold since last Wednesday. They are still estimating it will arrive next Wednesday. But we have no idea if it really will. And, this week Cuba has announced entry restrictions which will mean than flights out will become more and more difficult to find. So for now, we wait and hope.

What I m unclear on is whether there are any current issues with entry. So I m wondering whether anyone here has the US with a K1 since the US started making travel restrictions. What was the POE like? Any issues? Also are there any restrictions in place at this point for people entering the US with various types of visas if they travel from non-restricted countries?

i was wondering if anyone has had experience with bringing a minor child using the I1-130. In this case the Step father is a born US Citizen and the mother would be a green card holder and would be married to the US citizen. What is the timeline process like and does the minor child have to have a medical exam and attend an interview at the US embassy the child at the moment is 3 years old.
