K-1 in Costa Rica recent procedure-- I need help

My stepson is going through the K-1 process for his fiance in CR. My wife and I did it 15 years ago, I'm sure things have changed.

Can somebody who is doing it or has done it recently, let me know the steps.

He's approved at CIS, and the embassy has it and sent his fiancee the package of what she needs. She did her appointments and the paperwork. She needs to pay the visa fee. Here's where I don't remember the process, and what he's telling me is confusing.

I helped him fill out form 160 for her, but he's saying that he needs to create an "account" to pay the visa fee.

Can anybody help? Costa Rica has always done things in their own "special" way.

The new Jan 2023 edition (maybe earlier versions too) is not asking for the Sponsor's income. No, it's asking for "Income Contribution to the Beneficiary Annually".

Do you put the annual salary there or how much of your income you plan to spend on the beneficiary? The instructions don't even mention that field.

thanks.

Hey all! Finally at the NVC stage. Working on the DS-260. As many probably know addresses in other countries do not necessarily follow an American format - and are more like a description of how to get there. What have others filled in for the address line one - because the whole address is not going to fit - even using the option line two. For now I just wrote the name of El barrio and city (Tierra Blanca de Nicoya). Same problem with employment addresses and history. On the I-130 forms it gave the option for additional information to where I could enter it completely - but, not on the DS-260 from what I can see. Any help and/or advice welcomed!

Hey there - we are also a couple applying from Costa Rica - The list of required vaccinations is quite long and includes some that aren't very common for Costa Ricans to receive - like Hep A and B, Rotavirus, etc. How did you go about getting those vaccinations for your spouse?

And for the vaccinations they already had, was it easy to get proof? How did you get the proof?

Thanks so much if you have a chance to respond.

I 751, received 2 identical receipt notices

While waiting to hear about the possible interview for my husband to complete the I-751 process, something strange has happened. On November 11th, we received his original receipt notice and then about a week after he received the information to get his fingerprints taken and it stated that it would be extended for 24 months past the expiration date.

On MyUSCIS is says this:

December 7, 2022 Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken
November 1, 2022 We received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence.
However today, we received an identical receipt notice to the one we got in November however now it says 48 months past the expiration date. Has this happened to anyone else?
I also noticed that the beneficiary and petitioner are both listed as my husband even though we filled out the section saying that we had applied jointly and we both signed it. Should we be concerned?
