Hi, Thanks in advance for your help.

I had previously filed an I-130 for my parent and already have the NOA1 but after they came for a visit (and I became a citizen) I am adjusting them from a B1 Visa. I notice the NOA1 has the Section listed as '201(b) INA' , is that what I put on form I-765. under eligibility category?

NVC scheduled Costa Rican embassy interview appt but...

So after the NVC sent our date for interview at the Costa Rican embassy in San jose, June 26, it sent me to the "next steps". https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Supplements/Supplements_by_Post/SNJ-San-Jose.html

This is to register your appt and let cargo express know where to return the passport with visa post interview. So i click the register link https://www.ustraveldocs.com/cr/

I login and go thru the steps it shows and enter the info for returning the passport and it says the basically process complete please print... - but, it never asks about registering the appointment and on the dashboard says "no appointment scheduled". So confused - especially because the website continuously logged me out randomly.

Anyhow, has anyone else experienced this?! I did contact them but I'm.not sure how long it takes for a response...

Maybe the appointment date just not loaded up in their system yet you think? I hear all the countries are different on this particular process. But any help or advice appreciated.

Thanks all!!

K-1 in Costa Rica recent procedure-- I need help

My stepson is going through the K-1 process for his fiance in CR. My wife and I did it 15 years ago, I'm sure things have changed.

Can somebody who is doing it or has done it recently, let me know the steps.

He's approved at CIS, and the embassy has it and sent his fiancee the package of what she needs. She did her appointments and the paperwork. She needs to pay the visa fee. Here's where I don't remember the process, and what he's telling me is confusing.

I helped him fill out form 160 for her, but he's saying that he needs to create an "account" to pay the visa fee.

Can anybody help? Costa Rica has always done things in their own "special" way.

The new Jan 2023 edition (maybe earlier versions too) is not asking for the Sponsor's income. No, it's asking for "Income Contribution to the Beneficiary Annually".

Do you put the annual salary there or how much of your income you plan to spend on the beneficiary? The instructions don't even mention that field.

thanks.

Hey all! Finally at the NVC stage. Working on the DS-260. As many probably know addresses in other countries do not necessarily follow an American format - and are more like a description of how to get there. What have others filled in for the address line one - because the whole address is not going to fit - even using the option line two. For now I just wrote the name of El barrio and city (Tierra Blanca de Nicoya). Same problem with employment addresses and history. On the I-130 forms it gave the option for additional information to where I could enter it completely - but, not on the DS-260 from what I can see. Any help and/or advice welcomed!

Hey there - we are also a couple applying from Costa Rica - The list of required vaccinations is quite long and includes some that aren't very common for Costa Ricans to receive - like Hep A and B, Rotavirus, etc. How did you go about getting those vaccinations for your spouse?

And for the vaccinations they already had, was it easy to get proof? How did you get the proof?

Thanks so much if you have a chance to respond.
