Hi guys!!! My husband naturalized a year or two ago, and when he did he dropped one of his two last names. He has an updated identification card and everything else, but we are selling our house and we realize that the deed is in his old last name. I have searched through my records to look and see if I have any documents pertaining to the name change, but I don t. Does anybody else have a better memory or are maybe are you going through this now? What document can I look for that would talk about the name change? Thanks!

Soo .My husband got his green card a few months ago and recently landed a pretty good job. He has only been there about two weeks but everything has gone smoothly up until now. Today, someone he had met from another department a while back called him and left him a voicemail at his desk saying "Hey this is immigration services I wanted to update you about your current green card status call me back, etc". The guy left this message thinking he was playing a joke and thought it was funny. My husband did NOT think it was funny. (Also, this man has no business knowing my husbands status.) I know I'm preaching to the choir but we all know in this political climate the immigration process is grueling and there is so much hate , judgment, and ignorance surrounding people who immigrate to the US. Just wondering, how would you feel if this happened to you and what would you do? Would you "laugh it off" or file a complaint? My husband did let his supervisor know and they took it seriously, apologized, and were overall sorry it happened. BUT, they did not file a complaint or document what happened. I just don't want this to happen again.

Hi everyone. I requested a status update since we filed a year ago on i130. I m confused as to the response. Interview Scheduled USCIS has scheduled your interview appointment and will mail you the appointment notice. Thats on the site. But in the email I received it said still reviewing. You will be scheduled. I havent received anything thing else prior to this. My spouse is still living in his country. Has anyone seen this and can you tell me what happened since then? I m curious thank you

Admins - please move if not posted in the correct place. I am trying to help a family friend. They are adjusting from a B2. The mother's application has already been accepted and is being processed, but the minor child's keeps getting rejected. When it was first filed (with the mother's applications), it was filed with the 485, 864 and the 944 but it was rejected with the same letter below. They also tried the 485 and the 864 (no 944), then they tried the 485 and 944 (no 864). Looking through the instructions they do not appear to qualify to file the 864 EZ. Maybe USCIS made a mistake the first time and what should be filed is the 485, 864 and 944? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
