Hello fam - Does anyone have any recent experience after K1 visa approval about how well they deliver in the (suggested) 24-48 hour issuance after approval of Visa and sealed package. My fianc e and I are planning to wait after our Wednesday appointment next month to pick up the Visa on Friday or Saturday. Any recent experience with how they are doing on the processing? Thank you

First, forgive me, but the searches did not yield clear results. I know this is subjective and we are all here to help each other. For those that have gone through the POE entry process, approximately how much time should we allow between connecting flights? We can do a connecting flight that we catch 90 minutes after landing(Miami) or there is an option for about 3 hours or we can go to IAH(Houston) and have 200 minutes between connecting flights. Are we safer allowing far more time, 11 hour layover. Any opinions are welcomed. Thank you.

My son s case was originally F2A but his case was returned to NVC after his interview because his category was converted to F2B. Finally, his PD is current in the visa bulletin and the NVC scheduled an interview for him for June 2024. However, when l check in the CEAC check status site, it still says Returned to NVC. Other beneficiaries status say Ready. When do you think is going to be updated by NVC? What should l do?

My family used my “maiden” name on their DS-160. Will that cause issues? |

It is in quotation marks because, as many on this forum, I immigrated to the U.S. through marriage. However, in my country of origin, there is no name change after marriage, so my maiden name there is still my legal name on my foreign passport and IDs and the name that my family used to fill out their DS-160 for a B visa. By family, I mean my sister and mother. They used my foreign legal name in the fields where the form asks if they have any relatives here in the U.S., the person paying for their trip, and their point of contact. Will this create any issues for them? Honestly, I never told them I changed my name here in America because of marriage, since I still use my maiden name quite a lot. Thanks!
