Hi, My husband arrived on an ESTA in March and was going to return but we decided to adjust status due to covid (and one of his flights was canceled) He'll be overstaying starting tomorrow. I think I'm just being anxious because his overstay is forgiven, right? I live in a border town so that's extra stressful... AOS package arrived last week but still waiting to hear back. Anybody been in a similar boat or have any advice? Just don't leave the house? Ha...

IR-1 Visa here, just made it to the NVC stage. I've lived in Chile since 2011 and have been waiting for my wife's visa to be approved before moving to the states. I obviously am going to be moving back to the states with my wife and daughter, but I have to prove that to the NVC. I'm writing a letter explaining my situation and including the following information. They all show the same address, where we intend on living. - US Bank account statement
- US credit card statement
- LLC formed in 2020 in my name
- Proof that I've been applying for jobs (emails and job board confirmations)
- Latest federal tax return
Will this be enough? Should I include something else? I don't have a recent voting record, US property or an unexpired driving licence. My latest state taxes were filed for 2018 in a different state than we're planning on moving (where mother lived, moving to where father is). That is why I'm not including my state taxes. I have to use a joint sponsor because I only have foreign income that will stop once I quit my job and move to the states.

Hello! Thank you for reading my question. I am trying to bring him to the states from Chile to get married, but we have no photos together!!! Is there any way that we could get the visa approved and bring him over? A little context. I met my fiance while I was studying abroad. We were both renting rooms in the same house, and as that goes we fell in love and it has been a year of long distance and we want to be together. The thing is, we only have one picture together and you can even see his face (I've included it for the sad irony, I'm in the mirror) I was going to go spend a few months with him this summer but with coronavirus that was not a good idea, so no pictures. Since we did live together for a while, I have to pictures of myself in our apartment, and pictures of him in our apartment, just not together. Is there any point in filing an application for a K-1 visa without couples photos? Thank you for your insight!!

Adjustment of Status from Visa Waiver Program due to COVID-19 |

We filed an I-130 in Nov 2019. My husband arrived in mid March on the visa waiver program (from Chile) right before all of the coronavirus shutdowns. We are now thinking about applying for an adjustment of status since we are not comfortable with him flying (he has an autoimmune disease potentially making him more susceptible). My concern is the supposed 90-day rule / guideline, where it raises a red flag for someone to adjust status within 90 days of arriving. However, it seems worse and riskier to wait until his tourist visa expires in June... Any ideas if this would count as something acceptable for him to change his intent from visiting me to staying here and not be considered misrepresentation? Any advice you can offer would be most appreciated!

Hello! My fiance and I have received a case number from the NVC, and our case is currently waiting to be shipped to Santiago. Does anyone have information or a copy of the P3? We are trying to stay ahead and complete what we can while we wait. Thank you in advance!
