Question 61 on form I-130 asks: " "The beneficiary is in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status to that of a lawful permanent resident at the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) office in:" I am a little confused. I will send the application to the Chicago office drop box. But the nearest immigration office to us is Seattle. What do I put in response to that question? The office I send the forms to or the office I want to be used for an interview? Thanks Martin

Hello! I am getting ready for my interview on September 23rd at the Guangzhou Consulate in China. I was wondering - should I add more evidence to what we already submitted a year ago on our I-130? We have more call logs, texts, and some new photos (not as many because of COVID and cancelled visits). Additionally, there is more correspondence between me and my husband's family and my husband with mine. We've also bought each other gifts in the past year and have receipts we can present. I'm asking because our original evidence of a bona fide marriage packet was 76 pages long with proof of relationship. Is adding more worth it/necessary? Thanks in advance!

Hi guys, filling the I-130 form we came upon this part, my question is; I'm from Chile and I've visited my husband in the US under ESTA 5 times throughtout the span of 5 years, each time I've stayed with him for close to 3 months (under ESTA Im allowed to visit without a visa for up to 90 days). So I'm confused if that equals to 'living together' as I usually just go during my summer to spend my break with him (I'm aware thats tourism), then I head back to go to college in Chile. However, this last visit (which happened from december 2019 to february 2020) we closed on a house and my name is on the title too, so I'm wondering how that affects this part of the form. If some of you experienced this or something similar I d really appreciate some feedback. Thank you for reading

Hello, as we're gathering the documents to file the I-130 petition we realized that what we have is a marriage license not a marriage certificate. We got married in a courthouse and received the marriage license in the mail a couple of days after the wedding. It shows the information that the judge that married us put regarthing the date of the wedding and at the bottom was signed by the County Clerk with the date it was recorded. It has a golden seal. We'd really appreciate some info, specially from fellow couples that had a TX wedding, as we already had a mental breakdown over this

So, my wife's ir1 visa interview was supposed to be tomorrow... But she received an email today saying that for unavoidable circumstances her interview has been rescheduled for September 25. That's a lot later than we expected! She tried to reply asking for an earlier date but they just sent a confirmation of the new interview date. Is there any way to expedite the case? Should we ask for an expedite through the NVC or directly with the embassy? On the Santiago embassy website it says they are conducting emergency interviews for special circumstances. I have no reason to belive that they are suspending interviews now, simply there's another reason for the reschedule. The reason why we want an expedite is because I have a new job starting mid September. Luckily it's a remote job, but the idea is that we're basically settled in the US when I start. Is this a valid reason?
