Hello,

I sent back my joint sponsor documents with passport to Montreal. They had it on 18th September, also uploaded in CEAC.

Last update was 28th September.

I'm at the end of the 7th week. We already sent emails.

Any advice about what to do if didn't hear back till end of 8th week?

Has anybody else here in same situation?

Hello,

I have been asked to submit more documents with our passport to the consulate; has anybody had a similar situation? Does anyone know how long it will take to possibly get the visa?

Thank you,

I have an approved I-140 under EB-1 classification. I submitted my DS-260 on CEAC online and physically mailed my requested Civil Documents via USPS to NVC at Sterling, VA, with the Checklist provided.

Tracking showed delivered to their PO Box on Oct. 4, so going on four weeks tomorrow. Still haven't been DQ'd and no RFE.

Should I be worried? Does the NVC Timeline on their website only apply to electronic applications for family-based applications on CEAC?

Hello Wonderfull tribe!

These forums were paramount in not losing my mind when I applied for my K1 and then all the steps after that as well.
That marriage dissolved, however I am finally getting to completing the online forms to naturalize.
Yes, I decided to get over my fear of requesting citizenship!
I've complete the online form, and have stopped short of hitting send because I'm wondering if anyone here wrote a letter to accompany it, and attached that.
The online thingie just seems too "simple".
I was considering as "additional evidence" to add a personal note about why I want to become a citizen, and perhaps why my marriage ended.
I'm sitting on that thought. See attached screenshot.
I'm excited that, if all goes well, it looks like the timing is around 6 months now to get to the interview!

May all of you be well in your world.
