US Immigration from Canada

This is my first post! Not quite sure where to ask this.

I came to the usa on a k1 visa in November 2019, and just got married last week.

Note: I'm not changing my last name to my husbands

When I went to apply for marriage license in Florida they asked for my middle name but I told them I have never used it and that I didn't want it written on the marriage license, and even the clerks coworker said to use what's written on my passport/any form of identification I gave them. On my canadian birth certificate I have 3 given names and 1 last name.

My passport, my K1 visa, SSN, canadian SSN, Canadian(Quebec) driver's license, US military dependent card, and every other document has only my FIRST and LAST name on them.

The ONLY document that has my middle name is my Birth Certificate, and I-129F NOA2 because my husband filled out the middle name section.

Is this going to be a problem because my marriage certificate doesn't have my middle name like it is written on my birth certificate?

Does anyone knows any good reasonable price lawywe in usa or Canada

Also if someone applying i601 from canada how do we pay 930 fee from canada ???

I just read somewhere that after the interview, someone On VJ needed to submit their child s biological fathers foreign passport. Is that common?

I thought you just needed the court order and a notarized letter with the fathers consent for the child to immigrate.

I have the court order, long form birth certificate and the notarized letter with the fathers consent. I thought that was all that was needed?

And here I thought I was just about ready to submit everything

Hi, is there a difference between I-797 and I-797C? We only received the I-797C from my K1 visa petition. Just wondering since the instructions for AOS app asks for the I-797 which we didn't receive. Can I submit the I-797C for my AOS?

my fianc and I we re about to apply for a k1 visa when we realized that I wouldn t be able to work for a certain amount of time until I receive a work permit or EAD. Please correct me if I am wrong. I have been researching this for weeks and have not got a definitive answer. Am I not legally allowed to work until I receive a work permit? I have read that there are times when you do not receive a work permit within 90 days of applying for it and then there s not even a point in receiving it as I m not able to use it after 90 days. So my question is say I arrive on a k1 visa and we get married immediately and apply for an AOS when am I allowed to work? And what s the timeline from the day I apply? I understand this depends but on average? My understanding is this may take 2-3 months. Because of this we are considering getting married abroad and applying for a K3 instead. How soon can I start working once I arrive on a K3 visa? I have read and heard very different experiences on this. Some people say they applied for SSN number and were able to start working immediately while others where waiting for months and months waiting for a green card or work permit and were idol the whole time. This is the biggest deciding factor for me- which is when can I start working on both visas? I would truly appreciate any experience or knowledge with this.
