US Immigration from Canada

Hello,

my wife is here in the US on a fianc visa and all of the affidavits have been filled out to say that I am the one financially responsible for her and all of that. Now that we are doing taxes I am wondering if I am supposed to claim her as a dependent??? I ve also heard that you can t claim a spouse. But the legal paperwork for her visa and upcoming green card says that I am financially responsible for her. Please help me figure this out!

Hi everyone. Its tax season and im looking to see if anyone knows whether this is possible. My American Husband and I had our son May 16, 2019 during our K1 process. In June we visited until we moved July 2 2019. My son has his American citizenship. Im wondering with my Canadian taxes if I can claim him in Canada (im still receiving maternity pay) and my husband can claim our son on his American taxes as he has been in USA for atleast 6 months.
