Hi there, I'm currently working in America on a TN Visa - in November I applied for an AOS with the I-130 from marrying a US citizen. I just received a "Request for Initial Evidence" from my AOS, they need my "long form" birth certificate which I didn't know was a thing but I've ordered one now. But it takes quite a while to come in. I'm wondering if they won't issue me my I-765 EAD until I am able to send in this birth certificate or if that is completely separate. Anyone have thoughts? Thanks.

Hi folks, Looking for input on this possibility. We are currently in Michigan but relocating to Kentucky. If I assume the best possible outcome in my interview and that we will move between the interview and the oath ceremony. I would really like to have my oath ceremony in Kentucky. If I ask for this will it cause a delay? if it delays me I will just make the trip back to Michigan. Thanks in advance.

Just wondering if anyone knows what the average wait time for receiving interview letters is right now for Family Visa's at Montreal consulate. How long are family visas waiting for their letter from their case completed (DQ) date? I'm an F3 visa. Been waiting since July 2019 so far. Thanks!

I have applied/filled form i-130 for my Canadian born child (unmarried over age 21) She is located in Toronto and the designated consulate in her area is Montreal Quebec. The receipt date is September 17, 2017, so have lots of time before she gets an interview. I have heard that Montreal consulate is too busy and it may take longer to line up an interview when time comes. We have relatives living in Vancouver British Columbia; so I wanted to know if we can change the designated consulate to Vancouver BC or Montreal Quebec is going to be it? We still have lots of time there is no urgency.
