Hi, I am looking for some insight in this case: I mailed my adjustment of status application (with working permit, travel doc...) at the end of Feb. I still haven't received anything, even though I have this weird feeling that they will return it because of the recent form changes. In all this, my B1 visa of six month will expire on April 8th. Now with the virus, my chance is even lower now at this point. If I don't receive a notice by then, I think my status will become Illegal, basically, which could lead to a entry ban in the future, possibly...I sound like Mister Doum, but I am just not sure on what to do because I don't want to be away from my family anymore. What is my best course of action in this case?

Ours is going through administrative processing as it just updated on 18th with "refused" status with details on the bottom. I know consulates stopped doing in person services, but continue to work on documents. Has anyone gotten their visas approved and received them recently? I wonder if they are still issuing visas since border shut downs. I know Montreal consulate has my fiance's passport as well as all the documents still. Anyone?

Does anyone use anyone that you d recommend? We finally sent in the I130 s Wednesday and received the NOA the next day (same PD date as the day we sent it in). I know nothing about taxes on both sides , and after reading a bit here it has me worried and what steps we should be following and have someone help us with it when the time comes. Once we get to the NVC stage my husband will leave back for the US to reistablish his domicile and transfer to his employers office down there (they have offices across the globe and they will allow him to transfer). I m worried about what we should be doing in terms of selling the house, rrsps, resps, RDSPs, and the $ from our home when it sells, etc. I feel like I m in deep here trying to understand it. Unfortunately in NS not many accountants are knowledgeable on both sides.
