US Immigration from Canada

Hi guys, my husband is filling out my I-864EZ and for the tax return, he can attach the tax return for 2019. He is in IT and makes more than the required limit. However, he did not make over the poverty limit in 2017/2018 as he was a student. We would like to not present those numbers if it is not needed. Do we still have to fill in total income in 6b and 6c as it asks to enter the total income as represented on Federal income tax returns for the most recent three years.

My son's petition is at the Montreal consulate, approved. And we were hit with the immigration pause. F2A. He will be 19 this August. My question is: DO I need to naturalize before his 21 birthday in order for his petition to freeze? I'm in the Houston FO and things move slow here so I just want to know what my options are.

Hi everybody,

I got stuck in USA due to Corona virus. I am Canadian and the admitted time to stay in USA will finished on June 6, 2020. All flights are suspending until June 30, 2020. Also all USCIS offices are closed.

I would like to know if I will face penalties for overstaying in USA during this time, because I am unable to leave before the expiration of the admitted time, and I can not simply apply for an extension at the competent authorities.

My case is also stuck , we are waiting for the interview appointment in Montreal since February 2020. Maybe my case will have a penalty too.

Please let me know any information, or idea about my situation.

My 18 month extension is ending soon , does USCIS normally send you another one when they see the 18 month is up and still working on your papers or do I have to call and request one ?

i head people say to get the stamp on your passport but I am now hearing you can t do that due to covid-19.

has anyone got an extension on the the extension letter recently and how you went about doing it?

I am currently going through the Removal of Conditions process from a K1 visa, I sent my application last July and have the 18 month extension letter.

My Canadian passport expires in July and I had plans to go there this week to file for a new passport in my married name and visit with my family but my travel plans were cancelled due to Covid-19.

Does any Canadian who is currently living as an immigrant in the USA know how I can go about renewing my passport from abroad? I know I can mail in the application but I am unsure of where to get the photo taken because they have different standards than the USA and I don t have a guarantor here.

Any advice on how to proceed would be very much appreciated!
