Hey Visa Journey! I made sure to submit form N-400 for my citizenship last month before taking an extended trip to Canada to see family. I'm just curious to know, what is the next course of action due to all of the disruptions at local application centers? Before I left I got a confirmation letter from USCIS stating they're processing my case. Has there been any updates on local application centers or field offices being opened to take biometrics etc. in NYC or surrounding borough's? I just want to be prepared just in case if things are being done differently due to COVID-19. Answers would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Me (US) and my fianc (Canadian) were going through the K1 process but the visa interview in Montreal was canceled due to covid. She has been here with my since March. With all the uncertainty about borders opening and consulates opening as well, we are considering just getting married, submitting a I-130, and AOS from here in the states. My question is: It's stated that to do this method, she must have came here on either a valid visa or a visa waiver program. I'm not sure if this is an issue with us because; She never received any type of visa or stamp when she entered, nor has she ever when she arrives through the land port of entry. I've checked her I-94 record online but nothing shows up? Does anybody know how this will affect us if at all?

My husband is currently a student so he is not making any income at this time. In order for him to be my sole sponsor, we would have to have cash/assets worth at least 3 times the poverty guidelines amount for our household size. Is this correct? For example, for our household of 2, we would have to have assets worth 3 x $21,550 = $64,650 Can I combine my husbands assets with my assets (from Canada, converted to USD) in order to meet that amount? Thanks!
