Anyone hear of new rules requiring to declare you're a greencard holder on your taxes? I hear this is new for 2020? My accountant insists there is no such space to indicate this information. Please advise. Thanks.

We are going to be getting married in the US soon and will be submitting an I-130 along with adjustment of status and all other necessary forms concurrently. I need some advice on filling out the forms. -After we get married, she will be taking my last name. However all of her documents like passport, ID, and birth cert will be her original name obviously. Is this not an issue? When filling out all forms, should she put her family name or mine? On the I-864 -household size, part 5, number 3: If I add up all the boxes as stated, it would be a total of 3. Is that right? It's just us two in the residence and nobody else involved at all, so shouldn't it be 2?

Hello, 1) I have been trying to get assistance with this section in my I-130A application for quite some time now. In regards to "Date to (mm/dd/yyyy)" for Address History and Employment history, what would I write/type if I CURRENTLY reside/work at a place? I have read some people wrote "Present" and some left it blank. It is kind of stressing me out, so I would really appreciate some help here. 2) Also, if I am adding a 3rd Employer under the Additional Information section - is this how I would format it? Also I put Item #1 even though it is basically my third employer, as I was uncertain if I could make up an item number. Also, it says to sign and date each sheet. Do I have to basically just sign the corresponding sheet, which would be Page 2? Thank you all in advance. Mel

I am currently 6 months past my conditional green card. We've been married for 2 years. My USC husband is filing for divorce. We are still currently living together until the end of the month. He is moving out of state. He said he fell out of love I am completely devastated. I came to the US on a TN visa to AOS after marriage. I am currently gathering evidence (both of us listed as emergency contact and beneficiaries from work, joint account, car insurance, costco memberships, drivers license with the same address, documents for our dogs listed together, over 50 pictures, facebook messages, facebook posts, iMessages, leases, copies of all mails through USPS, Tmobile phone records with his number being called or calling me, VenMo records). He is also willing to give me affidavit and I have 4 other friends who knows us willing to provide affidavits. I do not know if this is too much but I wanted to make sure I have enough documents for the waiver. Our engagement was a bit to short, only 3 months! I am actually Canadian and sometimes, I just want to give it up and go back to canada. What else do you suggest I should gather now? Can I travel with a conditional green card even with pending divorce?
